I loved that when growing up – “Ye cannot change the laws of physics, laws of physics, laws of physics”. We had their cassette, the only other song i can remember of theirs was “Strawberry Ice-Cream, Jelly and Cake’.
A bit of nostalgia is called for – sorry.

Ex Tex is playing DJ with his ipod. He is playing Ringo singing “When You Wish Upon a Star”. Of course, I added an extra R and thought Starr.
I will make a wish upon the most special Starr of all tonight.

@meanmistermustard, I was saying to myself “I can’t believe meanmm liked The Firm!”
I had no idea you were referring a novelty band I’ve never heard of until now! I was thinking of the Jimmy Page outfit.

Yep, for a couple of years in the mid’80s, with Bad Company’s Paul Rodgers singing. Not surprisingly, they did better business in Zeppelin-mad USA than in the UK. Crazy that both bands existed at the same time and had separate chart successes.

I’m listening to a lot of David Bowie stuff (right now, it’s Life on Mars?). It’s kind of my first time really listening to his songs, and I’m really happy that I got interested in it
Oh, and have you Beatles/Bowie fans ever seen this video before? Check it out!:
