Necko, has that got perky beats & rhythms to it or is it mostly rhythmless ambient-type stuff? I’ve been curious about whether I’d like that album (didn’t like representative examples from the earlier Fireman releases.)
Currently listening to Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony and finding it pretty boring. (I usually try to force myself to listen to a symphony three times before giving up entirely if I can’t find even a single movement I think is memorable.)
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

It sounds more like Paul’s solo music under his own name than the other two albums do.

Tchaikovsky’s Firebird Suite is really good – it was my favorite as a kid

You mean Stravinsky, right? I like Firebird too…not as much as “Petrushka” or the awesome “Rite of Spring” though!
Now playing Louis Armstrong’s Hot Fives and Sevens…don’t know which track but it’s wonderful stuff.

Yes, I mean Stravinsky, sorry. Sometimes I just seem to crosswire things in my brain…

I saw Blue Öyster Cult in concert about a month ago. One of the people that I attended it with made a recording of the entire show (minus the opening act). I’m listening to that right now.

Oh man, I love BÖC! (And I hate that stupid cowbell sketch since that seems to be all they’re known for these days by most folks)

Count me in as well. This is not an original of theirs (obviously) but it contains my all time favorite band introduction. Ready to howl??
EDIT: Currently listening to The Beatles Break on WMGK – ‘I Am The Walrus ‘ / ‘I’ve Just Seen A Face ‘ / ‘I, Me, Mine’.
