A little deviation.
Stretching way back to posts 2852 to 2854 (and revisited by posts 2957 -> 2961, thanks again AG), Paul spoke about his swearing in Big Boys Bickering and how it was inspired by John in the Spring 1993 edition of Club Sandwich (#65, page 4) (as quoted by Lua Perasi in ‘Paul McCartney : Recording Sessions (1969 – 2013) (page 313)).
“I think there’s a bit of John Lennon inspiration in this one. Its Lennonesque to my mind anyway. John wouldn’t have thought twice about saying “f**k” in a song.”
