Had a long hard day, driving, had a great dinner and talk with my 20yo son, didn’t even do everything I was supposed to. I’m so wore out I had to put on Abbey Road , and Octopus’s Garden is on now. I find this album very soothing.

My first Beatley moment involved the title track from that album. I was trying to pull the garden hose out from under a car tire. As I got into the tug-of-war stance, the chorus of the song started playing.

I’ve kind of let The Beatles fall by the wayside lately so to remedy that I’ve decided I’m going to listen to the discography straight through. I’m currently on Boys . Yeah, I just started.

I can’t get enough of It’s All Too Much !
SING it, George!
BANG those drums, Ringo!
SCORCH those guitars, boys!
I’ve had it on repeat for 75 miles heading east on I-40. Everyone I’ve passed and those who have passed me have seen me seat dancing and pounding the steering wheel.
Is it possible to OD on a song?
I’ve stopped for lunch. I have worked up an appetite. I will collect myself now.

Yes, if you continue to listen to “It’s All Too Much ,” I believe at some point you will scream “It’s All Too Much !” I had a similar reaction after repeated listenings of the Wings’ song “I’ve Had Enough.” Finally, sadly, I had to admit… “I’ve had enough.”

I aint starting another thread for this so here its getting dumped.
Was listening to the Say Say Say 7″ and 12″ singles (combined playlist on my ipod) On the Way thru Paul’s catalogue (it wasnt thru desire).
Track 1: Say Say Say – not good in any way. Hate the instruments, vocals and production but was out watching a football match so it passed by without any real annoyance.
Track 2: Ode To A Koala Bear – how this made it out the vaults who knows. Musicianship sucks, lyrics suck, production sucks, vocals suck. Garbage and delighted when it came to an end. Getting peeved now.
Track 3: Say Say Say (extended) – utterly pointless remix that offers little to the regular mix. Annoyance and boredom high.
Track 4: Say Say Say (instrumental ‘Jellybean’ mix) – the worst of the lot by some distance. Absymal cheap sounding s***e synths replace the majority of the lead vocals and handclaps that sound so processed you think they are fake (maybe they were) keep coming to the surface and it is so damn repetitive. Reminded me of a really crummy 80’s computer game theme tune that made you turn the game off and break the cartridge. It lasts seven f*****g minutes in total (swear word essential).7!!! 2 minutes in i was pleading for it to end, by three i was so close to skipping ahead for the first time in my trek thru Paul’s solo cannon. Thankfully my ipod agreed with me and crashed for the first time ever around 3 1/2 minutes in (i was checking to see how long this heinous piece of stinking steaming cack had to go).
There is a music angel out there.
I will go back and finish it (from the half way point) soon () but this could quite possibly be the worst single by any Beatle ever, words cannot express how atrocious each track is.
After this is the Pipes Of Peace album. Things could get nasty, posts might have to be rated 18+.

Decided to finish the Jellybean Say Say Say remix when walking the dog so to get it over with and off my ipod.
Mistakenly The Girl Is Mine was next (should have been before Say Say Say).
Did Paul and Michael record any song together which is not dire? Any song that not only includes the line “The Doggone Girl Is Mine” but repeats it thru-out should be buried in some never released to the public location and forgotten about for eternity. When Paul and Michael did their spoken parts at the end it became so bad its funny. How this was included on Thriller defies my logic, if its not the worst track on that album then i’ll be amazed.
Listened to Pipes Of Peace (the song), it was next and reminded and reassured me that Paul has exceptional songs coming up, and then put my ipod on random. Bluebird Wine by Emmylou Harris was playing before i typed this out.
