Blind Faith’s only album. Very interesting and very realized sound, though in terms of Eric Clapton efforts, I much prefer the distinctness of Cream.
Great album. The second-to-last great thing EC did (the last being Derek and the Dominos).
I’m in a very agitated and pissed off state of mind so naturally I’m getting the anger out by blasting live Who at maximum volume. This is one of my all-time favorite shows of theirs…I’ve got it on a CD but here it is on YouTube for anyone who’s interested.

I just logged into my old iTunes account that I don’t use anymore, and I was able to find the first Beatles songs I ever bought back on January 8, 2013: “Let It Be ,” “All You Need Is Love ,” and “Hello, Goodbye .” How cool is that!?…Not interesting? Okay.
Anyway, those are what I’m listening to right now—except they’re lossless rips from my CDs, not 256 kbps downloads anymore.

Good question. Let’s see… From what I can remember, “Let It Be ” was just a song I had been listening to on YouTube and really loved at the time; the same is true for “All You Need Is Love .” In the case of “Hello, Goodbye ,” it was the first Beatles song I’d ever heard (back in 2006), so I just had to own it since I was familiar with it.
Soon after those three songs, I began to buy more. By February 2013, having bought a dozen or so Beatles tracks, my favorites were “Let It Be ,” “Hey Jude ,” “All You Need Is Love ,” and “Here Comes The Sun .” (My favorites are much different now, but these songs still have a special place in my heart.)

I’m going on a Kinks binge…chronologically starting yesterday, listened to the first three albums and today I began the albums of their golden period, 1966’s Face to Face and (currently) 1967’s Something Else by The Kinks.

Ooh, I love Face To Face! My favourite Kinks album. I’ve never been able to summon up as much love for Something Else/Village Green/Arthur as most people, unfortunately. (I like ’em OK)
Currently listening to Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in A Minor. (Or D Minor or something, can’t remember. Definitely minor, though; I can tell that much)
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

I’ve been going chronologically through all of the Kinks albums, starting with their very first, Kinks, from 1964. Currently I’m 3/4 of the way through 1974’s Preservation Act 2. Here’s a great song from it:

I listened to P.S. I Love You from PPM yesterday, and… wow. That’s the most amazing and chilling melody I’ve ever heard. It’s absolutely amazing.

The Lovers That Never Were, Winedark Open Sea, Hope of Deliverance and C’mon People were the ones that kept bringing me to the album. Normally i’d only play those but once in a while it would get played thru and thats where Peace In The Neighbourhood, I Owe It All To You and Looking for Changes really grew on me and the rest are ok.Out of note isn’t this the first album which has Paul swearing during one of the songs (b*****d in Looking For Changes)? Paul also swears in ‘Big Boys Bickering’ (“f*****g it up for everyone”), issued on the Hope of Deliverance cd single.
@meanmistermustard, looky, looky what I found. My mind cleared, and I attacked it from a new direction!

Here’s the search that found it “FUCKIN’ IT UP” site:beatlesbible.com/forum. (That looks and sounds kinda of, uh, um, yeah.) I had tried all the ways to search using the words “Big Boys Bickering”, but then I wondered if you had actually put those words in your post or if you had just linked to the video. So I used the swear word line from the song to see if that worked.
I have no clue why “big boys bickering” wouldn’t bring up the post.
EDIT: you had put the “g” on the f-word, but Google found it anyway.
