My favourite sandwich was an M&S New York Deli Style Pastrami on Soft Rye Bread (Pastrami with a Mustard Dressing, Gherkins, Sauerkraut and Emmental Cheese). Much to my disappointment they dropped it recently, replacing it with a similar styled Salt Beef sandwich.
It’s not bad but… it’s not their New York Deli Style Pastrami on Soft Rye Bread:
Anyway, in M&S this afternoon and I find something that purports to be my fave m&s sandwich:
I am halfway through. Hugely disappointing and a pale imitation.
