Whats the correct pronunciation?
I am currently eating a fruit scone with bread and raspberry jam and have a cup of Tetley tea to go with it.
There are multiple correct pronunciations. It can be pronounced E-Van-Gel-Line (my preferred one), E-Van-Gel-Lin, or E-Van-Gel-Leen.

Do you need to log in? (Log in)I’ve never heard of that brand, and I am dubious that your middle name is not short for Evangelical. Maybe ask your mom about it?
If it is, I wasn’t named after it because it was short for “evangelical”. I was named after the girl in the poem.
So vague and intriguing – what girl? What poem? Was she into evangelicalism?

The poem is called “Evangeline: A Tale Of Acadie”. It’s about a girl who falls in love with some dude named Gabriel and they somehow got separated by a war or something. She takes a job in a hospital while waiting for him to return. They meet in the hospital where he has a irreversible disease and he dies in her arms. The End .

Making myself a nice slow-roasted duck curry so I don’t need to think about cooking the next couple of days (final chemo in this round tomorrow).
Roasted the duck very slow this afternoon. 4 hours on 125 degrees.
Stripped the meat afterwards, putting the wonderful duck skin aside.
Currently cooking up with veggies in a homemade curry sauce.
Skin, cut up into strips, seasoned with cayenne pepper, on top of flavour imparted by the bay leaves and black pepper I used when roasting, chucked into the deep fat fryer for ninety seconds.
I am currently eating duck crackling!

Don’t mention macaroni cheese. Its one of my favourite meals when made well but have it so rarely due to how unhealthy it can be.
I just had a couple of dark chocolate digestives with a cup of tea.

I have never had macaroni and cheese.
The last thing I ate was potato waffles (I’ve mentioned previously my slight addiction to them) but that was a couple of hours ago.

How can you never have had macaroni cheese? When made well its amazing; sadly many places fail and when they do it it is inedible.
I used Alton Brown’s recipe and oh yum.

It isn’t a “thing” here. I’ve always thought of macaroni and cheese as being an American thing that you see in the films- like Twinkies and whatnot.

A s’mores-flavoured ice cream sandwich to go along with my marshmallow comment in reply to Necko’s video about the burning of 6000 matches.
Of course, I’m giving Friendly a few little pinches of the ice cream.

I may have made too much.
Maybe you could use the rest as fertilizer.

My initial follow up comment was not posted due to the image putting people off their food for many days.

My body clock is so messed up at the minute that I’m having my dinner at ten-to-four in the morning!
A lovely beef casserole with horseradish dumplings that I made about ten hours ago (about an hour after waking up!) and couldn’t face eating when it was ready. Still, I have around half left so won’t need to bother cooking later.
