We just had some takeaway from the Italian restaurant down the road. Mixed salad with bleu cheese dressing, baked ziti with sausage and garlic bread. Now, we are settling in for an evening of watching horror type stuff.

Laying low tonight as the Missus has a nasty cold.blue-meanie

Ye Yanks are so fancy

*Googles ‘what is ziti?’*

When I go to the Italian, I get a vegetable lasagne a-hard-days-night-paul-3

Hope Zag gets better soon!

I know Ziti more as something good to play in Scrabble than as a pasta dish.

I'm Necko.  I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.

I'm also ewe2 on weekends.

Especially if the “Z” is on a triple letter square. Of course, if you could start the game by spelling out “lasagna”, you’d score the 50 point bonus for emptying your rack of tiles.

Homemade fried rice with spring onion, ginger, bacon, egg and mushroom (with a bit of indonesian soy and salt and pepper to season).

I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe.  This has been true for 2016 & 2017 Sig-Badge.png but I may have to get more specific in the future.

Roast beef, mashed potatoes, onions, mushroom and the devil’s vegetable- kale (which I can tolerate, if it wasn’t full of iron then it would be thrown into the compost bin).

Sorry ASJ, I don’t think Devil’s Vegetable would have made track *7* of Cloud Nine . Cause, you know, the seventh tracks were always the favourites…

The Devil’s Vegetables sound like either:

1) A very-crap B-movie

or

2) A very dirty adult movie

Number one sounds better of course.

Hmmmmm….

On another note: Anyone want to help me finance a film?

Considering what you wrote for option 2 above i’m hesitant to ask what type of film you want to make. a-hard-days-night-paul-7 Sounds too coincidental.

Do you want to take the risk? There’s a potential of a good return on it! *peels carrots*

What is salad cream? Is that anything like mayonnaise?

BTW, you had me at cheese topped rolls and tuna – yum.

From wiki

Salad cream is a creamy, pale yellow condiment based on an emulsion of about 25-50 percent of oil in water, emulsified by egg yolk and acidulated by spirit vinegar. It may include other ingredients such as sugar, mustard, salt, thickener, spices, flavouring and colouring. It was introduced in the United Kingdom in the 1920s where it is used as a salad dressing and a sandwich spread. Due to the higher cost of ingredients during periods of rationing in the United Kingdom a flavour similar to mayonnaise was achieved in the creation of salad cream.

Its said to be better for you than mayonnaise.
