Just finished a meal of Dover sole, fried scrambled into something more closely resembling pudding than fish, and butternut squash, with collard greens and fried potatoes.

Flatbread pizza, and a slow-cooked Japanese sweet potato. I found a recipe for miso butter with scallions to add to the potato.

Oh, it’s roughly around 1:15 AM and I’m having it as a snack. I’m in Central Time (U.S.). I stay up late and sleep in often.

According to research “Listening to The Beatles could help to enhance the enjoyment of a fish and chip supper, psychologists have found” report the Daily Mail and that if you go to the Ultraviolent restaurant in Shanghai you’ll hear the Beatles playing as you eat.

What if you don’t like the music that is being played? Will it enhance the flavour of your food and then give you indigestion afterwards?

I think it has to do with paired association. If you pair a song with a certain event like cheese then when you hear the song, you will smell/taste/think about cheese.

What music enhances healthy food that you don’t like so that you will like it?
What music destroys the taste of junk food so that you if put one bite in your mouth you spit it out and run away fast?

You could add an association with the food like if every time you ate junk food I play Crazy Bus and other torture songs then you might either grow to like the song or start to dislike the food.
