I just had coffee and cinnamon toast with the neighbours, with walnuts and dates on the side. Tasty and good conversation to go with it.

Health Tips: one Apple every day keeps Doctor Robert awayheart

I think I’ve posted “eating an apple” three dozen times in this thread.

Unfortunately, I still see my own doctor(s) four times a year. He’s/she’s no Doctor Robert , unfortunately.

Maybe not only apple you have to eat try some fruits and vegetables like banana more potassium and pineapple is good for the circulation of the blood, tomato juice good for the heart and cucumber is good for the high blood pressure, and carrots good for the eyes, and have to eat the right bread like wheat bread, walnut bread, and oatmeal bread, I hope my tips can help youa-hard-days-night-john-1

Those are good tips, thanks! And actually, I do eat many of those things and other good things most of the time, I just see the doctor for a checkup and to get prescriptions renewed. He’s a good doctor, I just meant that Doctor Robert would be more fun!

@HongKongLady is just about to attend a friend’s birthday barbecue. I’m curious what goes on the menu at a Filipino / Chinese barbecue.

You mean aside from the DELICIOUSNESS?

I’m having a couple of processed falafel balls in tahini dip and some tomato slices for a snack. And my usual gin-derived cocktail.

Ha ha – yes – aside from that. They have just begun with some fried noodles.

I like the sound of that falafel, and love the taste of tahini – sounds like an awesome snack!

I went to a wedding where the main attraction of the meal was a pig which was spit roasted and it has to be one of the most incredible things i have ever eaten. You’d just keep going back for the meat and crackling and avoid everything else where normally roast potatoes are the highlight.

The BBQ they had was a touch too small for a whole pig. Maybe a whole prawn :)

I went to IHOP for their free pancake day.

The waitstaff must hate this day. My waitress seemed like she was going to have a panic attack.

For lunch: Indian buffet with a friend followed by a free birthday frappucino for being a Starbucks member.

Dinner: free Dennys with another friend. I like to milk the free birthday offers, I won’t lie.

Lunch shortly. Reheated pizza. So original. But I’m very busy today with all sorts of odds and ends.

My personal dietician (aka HKL) will not be happy with me :)
