^ Umm – @parlance if you buy donut holes wouldn’t you be buying empty space?
They’re just tiny balls of dounut dough. Presumably the name comes from their fitting in the space of a hole. I wasn’t sure if she’d like it so I figured that was safer than buying a whole donut.

Bacon Donuts?Sounds like a waste of bacon.
I feel like putting it on salad is the biggest waste.

Bacon in a salad?I’m from Scotland, salad comes with chips.
Yeah, spinach salad is often served with crumbled bits of bacon and slices of boiled egg and maybe even a bit of blue cheese. Because no one actually likes raw spinach.
Salad with chips as in what we call fries, or as in crisps?

“Presumably the name comes from them fitting in the space of a hole.”
Maybe it come from using the dough they poke out of the donuts to make the holes?

What you call fries except they are fatter (and actually have some potato in them).

Great way of selling nothing and making money. 25 donut rings holes for £3 and send them an empty box.

The citrus tart was very nice, from the Coffee Club if you have those and their signature tarts where you are now.
I had to Google it and I came across a couple of recipes. It looks good.

Sure. I’ve had hotdogs with jelly. I just never thought about having it on a burger.

A big mix-up that will feed me for the rest of the week.
A roasting tray like this:
Lots of veggies piled in (potatoes, carrots, onions, mushrooms [white & brown], garlic, etc.) diced beef and smoked bacon rashers, roasting in a chicken gravy topped up with a bottle of Dragon Stout:
On top is sitting a guinea fowl, a game bird foe those who don’t know:
and Nasty is a fan of a game bird! Pigeon, partridge, etc… I’ll try them all at least once!
Very slow cooking.
Today I will munch some of the guinea fowl and vegetables. What is left of the guinea fowl will be stripped from the bone and added to the rest, giving me a mixed meat casserole that I’ll stagger to the end on Friday!
One dish cooking, 2/3 days eating! Yay! I’m a lazy sod. Sorry!

Looks delicious. Was this for another of these shared meals with HKL? Home-cooked bread?
No, we were a little out of sync as she had to go and buy some things for Chinese New Year before her days off
I have to own up on the bread; I bought some pizza last night and had some bread over, so I just baked it in the oven to make it crispy. The Ravioli turned out well, my son had three helpings.
