The spraying in the mouth is just for show, or because someone didn’t tell them the “proper” way to eat Cheez Whiz. But, yes, it’s meant to be a spread for crackers.
Alternately, it’s one of the two “authentic” ways to make a Philly Cheesesteak (the other with provolone).
@trcanberra I had you in mind when I posted the Australian snack videos.

Cheers – it’s interesting how we absorb a lot of US culture in Australia but some of the US snacks are still like alien artefacts. I have only seen one Hershey Bar down here in all the long years I have lived ‘down under’.

So now I’m confused; the stuff you might have in a bowl with fruit and cream you call Jell-O or some such?
If you use the term jam what do you use it for?
We tend to just use jam for whatever you might put on bread/toast and jelly for a dessert substance. Just the two. Oh, and vegemite

We tend to use jam and jelly interchangeably, though technically that’s wrong, as @Ahhh Girl illustrates above.
Speaking of vegemeite…

I wad thinking of yesterday’s “I accidentally ate horse” discussion, and I was wondering what’s the weirdest food people here have tried?
I had tongue when I was a kid. And Sunday, my friends and I went to a Filipino street food restaurant that happened to deliver food for one of the Buzzfeed videos. I had Kwek Kwek, which is fried quail eggs, which I liked.

I am about to eat my leftover chilli and garlic toast for lunch.

Not really wierd, but I once had a meal that had both elk and quail. Now that I think about it, I’ve also had squirrel.
I probably should have used “unique” rather than weird.
I just remembered I’ve had buffalo soup.
How are these accidental meals happening?

I’m eating a cranberry and white chocolate scone, but I’m picking out the cranberries (don’t like them). I bought them for my partner but I don’t feel like cooking breakfast and they’re right there.

I’ve eaten crocodile once. It was actually good.
I didn’t even know that was possible.
I think the weirdest thing I have eaten was kangaroo. That’s not even that weird. I’m boring.
They recently gave out insects to taste. You could get them with this magazine. They’re also selling them now at Jumbo, which is a big supermarket chain. I’d like to try it one day.
But for now, I’ll just stick to my Milka chocolate bar.
