You are able to get Pop Tarts over here! Too sickly sweet for my liking- the majority of my American food knowledge comes from books and The Simpsons “nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger”- apparently they taste awful, I thought they liked quite nice.
Confession: I have never eaten peanut butter, I never really noticed it in my local shops until about 3 years ago and even then you’re only able to find it in supermarkets, local corner shops generally just have Nutella.
One of the videos showed people trying Butterfinger and they loved it. I don’t eat Pop Tarts much now, but they have a chocolate/peanut butter flavor I’ll get once in a while. I love, love peanut butter, ASJ. You should give it a try.

Crunchy or smooth that is the question!
I am not eating anything at the moment but I am a bit peckish hmmm:
Digestive biscuits, potato waffles or scrambled egg?

Definitely smooth to start with! It’s easier to spread and less likely to choke you.
Potato waffles sound good – is that the same as potato latkes?

Oooh two choices- scrambled egg and waffles is a bit mank though.
They’re not like latkes as they look like this and are just potato flavour:
Good, filling food- I think I’ll draw another picture on them in ketchup, any suggestions?
These are pretty cool for anyone who is making pancakes anytime soon:

I love pb&j. I love crunchy, but start with the smooth first like parlance said.
I like Pop Tarts every now and again, but I much prefer cereal. I use eat Pop Tarts growing up as a quick easy bite on the way to school. I grew immune to over time.
Tootsie Rolls are ok, but definitely not on of my favorites.
Never had cheese in a can and no desire to either. Or Marshmallow Fluff.
Use to love Butterfinger, but now they kinda hurt my teeth. I don’t know why. I love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Don’t know if other countries like Reeses because I know they are not to fond of the plain Hershey bar.
I never got the love of Twinkies. They’re ok, but I don’t get the obsession other that its iconic.

I have no idea what any of those things are.

Parlance posted videos on the last page I believe and one of the other threads too.

@meanmistermustard I remember a conversation on here somewhere where it was said Americans don’t really do proper cheese, only processed stuff like our Dairylea or those cheese slices you get on burgers. Things like Brie, Stilton, and Cheddar are strange things to them.
I doubt you used Dairylea slices in your toastie the other day, they would!
Probably tastes as bad as it looks, but that’s America for you!

We have like blocks of cheese that you use a cheese grater; however, the slice cheese and the packet shredded cheese are more popular.
–They spray it on crackers or in their mouths. Or that’s what I’ve seen on tv. I’m not touching that stuff.

I’m American and hate the fake processed cheeses. I can tell you (from eating it on a few rare occasions when I was younger) that spray cheese is as bad as it looks.
I enjoy the good stuff, especially cheddar. I could (and do, though probably isn’t the healthiest) just eat blocks of cheese. Mozzerella is also great with some fresh tomatoes and basil!
Cheese is why, although I’ve become vegetarian, I don’t think I could ever be vegan.

@meanmistermustard, just saw the last part of your post. I think it’s mainly used for crackers. That on a sandwich would be way too disgusting.
