MMM, I looked up the Walker Crisps version of winners, and you’re right, most of them seem dire:
That said, I came thisclose to adding chili to my flavor for a Mexican hot chocolate version. Edit: Screw it, I created it.

I was craving a king cake last night, so I got one this morning.
So colorful! I have to admit, though, the baby thing creeps me out more than it should.

Lol. A lot of times now they place the baby separately to prevent from choking hazards. After purchase the person can choose to put the baby in the cake or not bother with it.

Chilli and chocolate is actually a really good combo, especially in brownies…
Vote for my flavor, then (I used cayenne pepper, though)!

Ah, thank you. I’m surprised they do that, don’t you choke on it?

As I stated before, they place the baby separate before purchase to prevent choking hazards. A person, after purchase, may place the baby inside or on top or beside the slice after purchase. This is mainly done for parties known as Mardi Gras Balls. For people like me, who just eat the king cakes at home, you don’t have to bother with the baby. You can leave it in the bag or on the plate it came on and discard it. I don’t not hear of people choking on the babies though.

Unless you’re cutting your slices way, way, way thick, I would think you’d see the baby long before you bit into it.

Oh sorry, you did, didn’t you?
Seems a wise thing to put it next to the cake instead.

You probably would. King cakes aren’t like normal cakes because they are bit thinner. If you are from the Gulf Coast area, which most people are who attend these balls, then king cakes are second nature to you and know to look out for the baby.
Yeah it is wise to put it on or beside the cake, so if there is that rare case.

a banana and some Gardetto’s (original recipie).
I just saw that Hershey’s is now making chocolate spreads. They have chocolate, chocolate with almond, and chocolate with hazelnut. I wonder how that third flavor compares to Nutella?

It doesn’t. Nothing will ever compare to Nutella, and nothing should even try.

Indeed. But i have suspicions we don’t hold the same reasons why.
