Am nursing crippling side and stomach pain so I really don’t feel like eating anything, but I am having non-stop cuppas (with soya milk, as I’m gradually reducing my dairy intake a-la Katie/ASJunior). Tea makes everything seem better, I find. Dunno what I’d do without it! Favourite things in life:

1. music

2. tea

3. my mom and sister (huh? so what?)/ funny telly/ baking and then eating my baking

Moving along in our God given ways, safety is sat by the fire/Sanctuary from these feverish smiles, left with a mark on the door.

Poor you Emily, do you know what’s causing it? heart

I love tea, I don’t feel right until I have my morning cuppa. Loving tea is a very British trait!

Thanks both. I do know what is causing it. Unfortunately that only makes things worse. I was better off not knowing.

I wish I could have a nice cup of tea before leaving but I know that if you drink it within 30 minutes of a meal, then you don’t absorb the fibre from the food. So I’d be getting hungry within an hour or two because fibre is what keeps you going all morning. I have actually proved this a few times. Weetabix fills me up till lunchtime, but Weetabix + tea does not.

The beginnings of “Yesterday “, toast with grape jelly, and a cup of hot chocolate. Sounds like a conglomeration of some posts I’ve read on here lately.

My parents have decided to experiment with food more, because we’re all bad eaters who don’t like vegetables, so for the past few weeks we’ve eaten a lot of different stuff, just unusual things. Today they made a Thai dish, and it was soooo spicy. Such a shame, because it tasted quite good.

They want us to enjoy vegetables more so they’re making all this stuff with vegetables, to see what works. Some stuff is great, some stuff just isn’t. I’ll never like sprouts

Sprouts have grown on me recently. They used to be something I’d have one or two of on the 35th December, but I’ve had them a few times over the past month and I quite like them now. I actually put them on the shopping list and all! :D

I do feel a bit better today, thanks sky apple01

35th, ummm yeah. Course. We have to be different to everyone else (we even have up to 35 days in a month – ha!) :D

Its good to have extra day or two for some things, but then on the other hand it would.

Earlier I had fried shrimp, hushpuppies, and two yeast rolls.

What are hushpuppies? I ask because in the UK they are a type of comfortable suede shoe.

A hushpuppy is a savory, starch-based food made from cornmeal batter that is deep fried or baked in small ball or sphere shapes, or occasionally oblong shapes.

It looks like someone is paring them with ranch dressing in that first photo. I always eat mine with ketchup.

^ I just eat mine plain. They are a popular southern dish. Back during slavery times when kitchens were separate from the house, the slaves use throw these to the dogs to hush them up.
