A bowl of chunky beef tomato soup with fried red onions added along with chunks of Petit Ash cheese going all melty-melty is cooling for eating.
Three slices of sourdough bread to go with it.

But I thought the other half of that half is Von Bontee’s face?
Is there a third Von Bontee/vonbontee we don’t know about?
Edit: Ah, the Discord vonbontee. That explains it.

There is but one of me, and sometimes that one and only vb has but half an appetite.
The simplest answer is often easiest!

Currently making a big pot of my twist on the Chinese favourite of crab meat and sweetcorn soup.
Crab meat, sweet chilli king prawns, crayfish tails, lobster claw and sweetcorn soup.

Jaysus RN, how much do you spend on food? I had breakfast this morning for €12 (I was in Berlin) and felt bloody lush and subsequently haven’t spent anything else the rest of the day.
Tell me your secrets, food here is awful expensive!

A good store cupboard, and get as much as you can away from supermarkets. A good local fishmonger is always good.
Crab meat is tinned (and in the cupboard since Chrimble), the prawns were part of a 3 for £10 on deli items at M&S, the crayfish tails (considered a pest) very cheap when when you get them from a fishmonger (300 grams for £2.50), and because I’m a regular, he mentioned a cracked lobster claw that I got for £2. Most expensive item the bottle of £5 saki.
Total cost for the pot about £25, with much going into the freezer for microwave reheating later, it cost about £3 a bowl as I’ll get 9 or 10 servings out of it.

Going Jamaican tonight.
Have curry goat with rice + peas and green salad on the way, with coleslaw, trini bread, sweet & sticky chicken wings, and fried plantain as sides. Only added the trini bread to get the 20% off orders over £18.
Don’t mind if there’s some left for lunch tomorrow.

Ah yes, green onions on eggs. A fine, fine thing.
I just had baked salmon with pesto alla genovese and pecans. Delicious.

Where do you people get all of this food?
I had a slice of apple for breakfast and some toast with peanut butter for lunch. And I’m still not hungry. I have a theory that I can live off of music to a certain extent.
