AG, I actually think they’re quite good! However, to me they’re better as a snack or dessert than a breakfast (I usually like to eat something, y’know, somewhat healthy in the morning ). The taste is quite like Orange Crush, which surprised me.

A homemade spicy coleslaw. Roughly chopped cabbage, red onion, purple carrot, pimento pepper, mixed through a cayenne pepper mayonnaise.
Chilli and coriander marinated king prawns (done myself), and smoked peppered mackerel (shop bought).
Prawns mixed in with the coleslaw, mackerel on the side.
Accompanying, a nice bottle of South African Merlot.

Ron Nasty’s meal sounds way too healthy for my taste!
This is the first time I’ve actually been eating something when I saw this topic surface! I’m having white rice, white potato, salmon & mayonnaise + a nice glass of cabernet.
A ginger sling with a pineapple heart,
a coffee dessert, yes you know it's good news...

Your meal doesn’t sound too much different to mine, @Pineapple Records, except your having rice and tatties opposed to my coleslaw.

Homemade apple pie. I use my new oven for baking, which I ordered here in Auckland. My kids like fresh-baked pie with a crispy crust on the bottom so I bake it twice a week. It’s tastier than store-purchased one and I know exactly what goes in it.
My wife bakes her apple pies by using raw honey instead of sugar. Yum!
Currently eating lite yogurt – strawberry / banana flavor. Dieting leads to some pretty boring snacks.

What’s wrong with yoghurt?Im eating an omelette with the leftovers from last night’s Greek salad.
Nothing at all – as a matter of fact it was delicious. It just wasn’t tortilla chips dipped in salsa and avocado.
Your omelette sounds tasty. Zag made one for breakfast this morning. She used chopped tomatoes that she grew herself, onions and a blend of shredded cheeses.

@Martha, do you know the sauerkraut brand Hengstenberg? Ohhh Boy and I have just discovered it. It is so good! The label says it is Germany’s #1 sauerkraut.

I think I know it indeed! My father loves Sauerkraut so we eat it quite often and vaguely remember this brand’s name!
By the way, if anyone wants to try a typical Northern German dish, I can recommend Labskaus. It’s made up of corned beef, potatoes, and onions and, as I just found out in Wikipedia, it’s apparently also a typical dish in Liverpool! (the Beatles must have imported it from Hamburg)
Anyway, enjoy your Sauerkraut!
