Offline Leftover chicken enchiladas… I made a huge batch of them yesterday – half with the usual corn tortillas and half actually wrapped in thinly sliced zucchini, which is great for me as I am diabetic (tortillas = carbs = sugar) and currently eating gluten-free as wheat seems to create issues with my metabolism… The zucchini ones actually taste better to me at this point.

Offline I nabbed two bottles of Mexican Coca-Cola during the dirty Santa game at the Library Christmas party. I used them strategically…drank them on days I really, really needed the extra caffeine boost.

No. Mexican Coke is made with sugar whereas American Coke is made with high fructose corn syrup. It’s generally more expensive in America (I can’t speak for Mexico, because I don’t know). That was just a picture that I pulled off Google Images, not the actual bottle I drank.
Coca-Cola switched to HFCS in the U.S. in the mid-1980’s. Prior to that, it was made with sugar. The switch was done mostly because it’s cheaper to use HFCS. Some people claim that it tastes better. It definitely tastes different.

Offline I like the ones made with sugar. They aren’t as “heavy” tasting.
I drank one bottle in March and one in April. They were delicious.
