‘Twas very nice, @The Hole Got Fixed. Basically a sponge filled with yoghurt and strawberries. At least, it is the way I may it!
Currently: rye bread (I do like rye bread), four slices, forgotten cure spiced beef, a slice for each slice of rye bread, four bits of bread, four slices of beef, two sandwiches! A generous smear of wholegrain mustard in both, and a sliced gherkin for each.
Now that’s a sandwich!
I just don’t understand “forgotten cure” spiced beef. Obviously some bugger has remembered it, or else I wouldn’t be eating it. Very nice though.

Offline At the moment I have a nice Aberdeen Angus beef joint about to be cooked in my halogen oven that I bought for me for Christmas.
Potatoes below them to roast.
Still experimenting with timings. I think I will try an hour and see if too rare.

Offline I cannot be bothered to cook, and so…
A couple of slices each of Parma ham, salami Milano and bresaola. Some sun-blushed tomatoes. A spoon of red onion chutney. A half-dozen of my favourite borettane onions. Some blue Stilton. A pork and chilli sausage roll. A chicken, ham hock and mustard sausage roll. And two sliced sharon fruit.
