Turn it up but not too loud.
@lovelyritametermaid
I know @meanmistermustard approves
Oh, this cover is so beautiful Ngl, it almost brought me to tears. I’d say close your eyes, put in headphones, and turn it all the way up to drown out the world
(I also took a listen to “Return of the Grievous Angel” and plan on listening to the rest of the album later. Thanks for introducing me, @Dingle Lad )

Parliament’s original version does it for me, I like the song better as an uptempo funky rocker. I suspect that George Clinton’s decision to remake “Pussycat” at half-tempo was influenced by the need to pad out “America Eats Its Young”‘s double vinyl. Turn Parliament up three, and Funkadelic up one.
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Von BonteeI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Any hip hop heads?
I love a decent amount of hiphop (more accurate to call it ‘rap’) especially from the 80s/90s so-called “golden age”, but I didn’t like that much, aside from some of the samples. So I checked out “Donuts”, and now it kinda makes sense in context. But it still isn’t something I’d listen to very often, if at all. I’m a middle aged fart who isn’t equipped to appreciate instrumental hip-hop; it feels kinda synthetic without a human voice at the mic. QuarryMan probably likes it a lot…Leave it where it is.
(Song starts about 2:10, sorry)

Not sure if there is a rule about following yourself, but I was just wanting to get everyone’s opinion on this song. I greatly prefer Paul’s demo that appears on the Abbey Road Super Deluxe. But Mary sure is a looker though isn’t she?
What is happening? And tell me how you've been.

Who in this forum would DARE turn down Ringo’s and Klaus inimitable Dingle-funk stylings, much less John/Yoko and the selfsame birdies from “Good Morning, Good Morning”? It’s not quite a song, more a tryptich than a collage, but whatever it is it sounds absolutely contemporary. Expert Texpert thinks Yoko’s POB is the better of the pair, and I’m often inclined to agree (until remembering that the tacked-on, unrelated Ornette collab is a HUGE disappointment…) Turn the Plastic Ono Band WAY up please, they’ll be famous someday!
As for Fleetwood Mac, turn Green’s guitar solo up, leave the rest where it is. But I jumped in late, so anyone else feel free to post a different opinion…
Ok its DISCO TIME
