Nice pop song with with beautiful arrangements. Epic chorus included. Turn it up.
This really creeped me out for some reason, probably the video quality, so turn it down.

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

I found the music video interesting (but that’s because I’m interested in disasters even though they’re terribly depressing…), and the music fitted the video very nicely, especially the organ-like sound. However, I’m not sure I’d listen/like the music on its own, so I’ll leave it where it is.
Topical considering the date:

Very subtle song for Abba, missing the typical heightened emotion and hooks-upon-hooks, and therefore not one I’d play again and again. But it deserves to be turned up for the sentiment alone, plus some nice images in the video.

Ahhh, one of the groups that in the UK punk and two-tone came in to do away with, and rightly so. Turn its overblown excessive showing-off down to… 0 (first time I think I’ve done that!).

Gotta love a good bit of Madness. Love the sax, and the general boppiness. The lyrics are dark, but I understand Thompson supported his sister through that time so I have no prejudice, so definitely turn it up.

Turn Monsters up a bit…reminded me of a certain type of 80s alt-wave pop, and I like the way they sing together, though I like the female voice more than her counterpart.

Ooh my, how sad. Kinda hits me close to home, although no one in my family was disowned. I love how upbeat that sounds compared with how dark the lyrics are. (Turn it up!)

Turn it up. Nice tasty guitarnage.
Turn this one up or I will be sad

Hm. Well, not bad, kinda reminds me of Love & Rockets. It eventually loses my interest 2/3 of the way through (I miss that little boogie riff)…but if you turn it up I won’t complain. No need to be sad!
…Paul particularly liked Albert Ayler’s free-form tenor-saxophone playing: sweeping screams and wails which helped define the nascent Black Power movement. He bought some of Ayler’s albums for himself and enjoyed the puzzled look on George Martin’s face when he put on Spirits or Bells and filled the room with Albert’s honks and squeals. – Miles, Many Years From Now

Hahaha I’d turn it up just for the look on George Martin’s face even if it didn’t sound terrifically like a ghosts’ carnival in the Louisiana swamp. I also loved the ending.
Hey George, this is good stuff, eh?

One ghostly song deserves another, so have this from the Squirrel Nut Zippers…

Not too bad at all. Not something I’d play everyday, but more than happy to give that a listen occasionally. Intro was the best bit though. Turn it up a couple of notches.

Glad you liked it! And I liked your description a lot. (Half of the man’s compositions were titled Ghosts or Spirits or Holy Ghost or Holy Spirits or…)
Turn the Eels up some. I liked the low-key committed grittiness.

A well packaged old school song. Not enough to feel like I really need to get into ‘shoes’ but I still turn it up.
Probably the band I’ve posted the most in this thread makes another appearance.
EDIT: I was about to go to bed listening to Beach Boys sessions but i saw shamrock womlbs beat me to the response. I keep that song where it is. I like the groove but I don’t like the singers voice.
