Silly Girl enthused
sigh butterfly sang
Measuring a summer’s day, I only finds it slips away to grey,
The hours, they bring me pain.Tangerine, Tangerine, Living reflection from a dream;
I was her love, she was my queen, And now a thousand years betweenThinking how it used to be, Does she still remember times like these?
To think of us again? And I do.Thanks for the song @sigh butterfly, I really liked it! *back to ‘Echoes’*
SILLY GIRL IS CATCHING ON!!!
We’ll have her getting the Led out any time now.
Haha, it only took me a year to begin getting the Led out

Huh, I always suspected that song was by GD but wasn’t sure till now…probably one of my favourite things by them (and I’ve never exactly been a fan.) Catchy and crunchy, turn it up.
OK, this one means a lot to me because I had mom aunt’s old 45 and it was the first time I was enthralled by a guitar solo…I’d press my pre-school ears near the speaker and try to picture what was making all those exciting little sounds that sounded like they were flying off in pure space!

Jeez, what is this – the “turn Bowie up or down” thread, beatlebug?! That one’s a strange choice for an album opener, but it’s a strange album anyways, and the sound is weird enough to make it fairly interesting. Turn it up slightly.
One of my favourite openings to a film ever:

No, actually, it’s just that every time I happened into this thread lately, I happened to be listening to David Bowie and I was too lazy to go find something else to post. (I don’t own any of his albums yet, so I am usually getting my Bowie fix when I’m on the slaptop.)

That’s why I like it
In re: the opening of Jesus Christ Superstar, turn it up.
AND NOW FOR SOMETHING NOT BY DAVID BOWIE:
(Hint: I’ve currently got the volume turned really, really low on this one — and you know what that means )

Sorry. Rap/whatever DOES NOT EQUAL a genre WeepyC likes.
Eh, keep the Youngbloods where they are.

Keep it where it is. I’ve heard enough of Abba’s hits to last a lifetime, and that’s not one of my favourite songs anyway. But it could be worse.

For Gimme Gimme Gimme – TURN IT TO 11!! Though I appreciate why it’s overdone…
As for All Good: I’ll be turning that up, to 10. It’s so awesomely psychedelic, but something in the mix is annoying me.
