YES! It was Garson’s playing on that track that made me such a huge Cecil Taylor fan.
As for Hatfield, turn em up a single notch, I guess. I’m not a great jam-band aficionado, but they play and sing well enough.

Funny enough, Garson’s playing with Bowie was highly influential on Phish’s Page McConnell, probably the premiere jam keyboardist today.

Pretty good song, great production, vocals nothing special really…must’ve been some great (or terrible) drugs going round in ’76 for any listeners who suspected they were actually listening to Johnny And The Moondogs. Turn it up 2.5 notches.
