That’s quite a cool piece! I love the energy and the quirkiness and also the various different instruments that are used. The marimba adds a nice colour on top. Turn it up!

That intro made me jump! I’m sorry, Muse fans (Especially @Beatlebug), but the use of overdrive just doesn’t do it for me on that track, so turn down.
*gets pelted with rotten tomatoes (again)*
Here is my current favourite non-Beatles song. I’ve been adventuring into post-punk/new wave music recently, and this is just the ticket!

Didn’t really grab me, sorry – I wanted it to be either noisier or catchier. But I guess it’s an honest piece of work…leave it at the same volume.

Turn it up! I love those wild guitars and bass, they create a captivating restlessness. And for some reason, I find it endlessly cool how the singer half speaks, half sings seemingly in a completely different tempo and the guitars just go on screaming all the time. I should probably check out some more MX-80, what I’ve heard of them so far I quite liked.

I approve of the Japanese (-and German, just like POB!) 1971 acid-rock turn this thread has taken! I’d heard of the Mops before (apparently they usedta wear colanders on their head, for the sun to stream through in little dots – to simulate the effects of the drugs they couldn’t get in Japan) but never heard em till now. Great pounding beat and percussibles; have to checkout the full LP on YouTube.
As for Can, everybody knows they’re legendary, and even though they’ve tracks I like more than “Paperhouse”, any performance football of these guys is precious, especially with that amazing rhythm section dying months apart this year. 🙁 Anyways, turn both of the last two up to 10.99!

Turn it up, seems nice. I’m doing this next song at an acoustic night in a local club (me playing guitar whilst my friend sings) –

Beatlebug, vonbonteeI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

uP UP UPUPUPUPUPUP! This song reminds me a little of something that would be on Led Zeppelin III, but with a splash of difference. Robert’s voice is lovely, and his lyrics are still as poetic as always.

Turn it up! And to continue with the outer frontiers of 1970-style heavy rock in all its twisted permutations, here’s Stark Reality with their fuzzy vibes (including actual fuzztone vibraphone)

I love that song, it’s so gentle and meditative but still exciting. Turn it up.
Also turn the Stark Reality’s track up, boy that was such a cool song! I will definitely dream of the crazy bass riff at the beginning tonight. And, even though I normally don’t pay much attention to it, I have to say the lyrics are bloody brilliant!

Turn that up at least two notches, then all the way down before the very end (too much bloody gunfire in the world today, as ever). Good poprock track, didn’t think the singing itself was anything amazing but liked the vocal arrangement, reminded me of Todd Rundgren or The Shoes or somebody.
Here’s “Magic Toy Missing” by the Meat Puppets, video courtesy of me. (Hey Silly Girl liked it! 😀 )

Turn that up a notch, Floyd doing that nice relaxed pastoral acoustic-strum-with-bird-fx thing they did so well. I should listen to More more!
(Turn the Bonzos up too, track was lovely, plus aggressive Rickenbacker bass!)
