Often thought to have been written about Dylan. Turn it up…
Speaking of Bobby, another cover, only known performance of it from a gig in Stateline, Nevada on 16 August 2009…

Turn it down, the vocals on the song suck, it’s like he smoked an entire pack of cigarettes before performing it.

Which, when you think about the lyric, really works… Bobby sounds like he’s been at the end of Lonely Street for quite some time.

I turn up the Heartbreak Hotel and Revolution 9 .
His voice is rough, but it adds another layer to an already solemn song. Performing that in 09 seems very nostalgic, and the gruffness of his voice only enhances that. Kind of like how he sings the line “you say I’m past my prime” from Spirit On The Water. It sounds rather meek when sung with such a worn out voice, but his emotion cuts through just as much as it did back in the 60s, proving the statement wrong as he sings it.

Turn it up, i love 70’s classic rock hits, whether it be Hotel California, We Will Rock You, Stairway To Heaven, Rock And Roll All Nite, Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting, Slow Ride, Movin Out, etc. and Slow Ride is a great example.

That’s my least favourite track on that album, which isn’t saying a lot since I basically love that album. Turn it up.
As for the Penderecki, turn the shrieking (improvised?) parts and the percussion up. I’ve tried listening to Penderecki before (just the Threnody and The Shining soundtrack) and from what I can tell, it’s the kind of thing I find more interesting than enjoyable. (Unless I’m stoned and listening with headphones – then I can truly get off on it.)
Kinda related to “Threnody” thematically, here’s a self-indulgent piece of improvised incompetent “avant garde” electronic crap created by myself. (With samples of James Tenney) Video feedback and laser pointer effects also my doing. TURN IT DOWN

Turn it up so loud that it can be heard clearly from 100 miles away, i didn’t realize how great non-rock guitarists could be.
Even more impressive considering he only had the use of two fingers on his left hand.

Turn it down. She has a beautiful voice but those electronic disco sounds are not really my taste.
Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

Turn that up! The song’s a bit gimmicky but it’s a good performance and that Motown sound is undeniable. (Also the idea of a black secret agent was years ahead of its time!)
