^^ George did. Not that that signifies much about the practicality of such an action, as it was 1967.

I’m guessing you’re colorblind, but that’s not the Duo Jet , that’s the 1957 Gibson Les Paul Standard Lucy that was originally a goldtop but then painted red before it was handed to Eric Clapton and then later, George. The guitar was used for the majority of The Beatles and Abbey Road , most notably on George’s composition, Something .
Maybe you should try posting more.

I think @Beatlebug was asking if that WAS the black Duo Jet . Since these are painted guitars, she probably meant that it was a red painted black Duo Jet . Also it is very rare for a female to be color blind.

Ahhh, I get it now. The reason I put Lucy in their was because she was a Goldtop painted red, it’s not a red Duo Jet , although George actually had one (not a repainted version of his black one though but rather an entirely different guitar).
As for lack of colorblind girls, I learned something new today as well.

I just learned that Ringo Starr wrote “Dear Santa”. I first heard it on the Fab Four Christmas record and figured it was a common Christmas song. Then I heard the Ringo version and figured the “Bring Peace and Love / That would be everything” bit was a Ringo add in… then just today I heard the peace and love line in the Fab Four version and I got curious and looked it up.

Thanks Willy — as a matter of fact I’m not colour-blind (though you’d not know it from my largely monochromatic artwork ). That’s exactly what I meant.

According to Fortune magazine in April 1945, Betty Crocker was the second-most famous woman in America, behind Eleanor Roosevelt. This is quite an achievement given that Betty Crocker was never a real person.

Descendants of German royal families still carry their titles, although they have no meaning and are legally considered part of their names.
They still have “royal” weddings. They keep the heredity thing going. They have a “leader” of the family.

I thought it was more of a nifty thing, rather than something I’d like to see fixed. Because it only happens when you have that in your post, it seems pretty harmless.
However, I do see how it would more belong on the “weird things happening on the forum” thread
