According to Joe, Paul played guitar on Oh Darling and Across The Universe . It’s funny, as I only hear 1 guitar in the first and I thought John played in the latter, but The Beatles Bible is a reliable source.
There is only bass and 1 electric guitar on the isolated ‘Rock Band’ breakdowns of ‘Oh! Darling ‘.

Depends on your definition of “gun rights”, @William Shears Campbell.
The vast majority of first world countries have “gun rights”, but they are qualified, and are governed by laws, licenses and background checks. Whereas in the US there is very little control of gun ownership, with people who wouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a gun, let alone allowed to own one, in other countries, having none to few obstacles in their path (depending on their purchase route) to their legal ownership of a weapon in the US.
The US has gone for rights without responsibilities, while much of the rest of the world insists there are responsibilities that go along with the rights.

I learned that the US is one of the only first world countries to have gun rights. I never really gave this much thought before I suppose.
The rest of the world has gun wrongs or gun lefts.

I don’t get the big deal about gun rights, I believe that everyone should have the legal right to own a gun and I think Ted Nugent says it best.

So you would be happy if every prisoner in US prisons had a gun with them in a prison? If you don’t believe your criminals should be able to legally armed, then we agree there needs to be controls. We’re just disagreeing on the degree of controls.

If you’re in prison, the police have guns on them and they are required by law to protect all the prisoners and to not shoot unless if absolutely necessary, so giving someone in prison a gun would be stupid. As for criminals once they get released, their either reformed or will buy weapons illegally, so it can’t do much damage letting them use the 2nd amendment. Also, there’s a difference between having a gun, using a gun, and using a gun to hurt someone. I could use a gun to shoot targets or to poke holes into things (not a good idea, but still possible), I could also point a gun at someone to make them piss off if they’re trying to hurt me without actually hurting them.

It would be stupid because prisons are full of very violent people, but that doesn’t change the fact that their 2nd amendment rights are denied them, and your basic argument seems to be that they never should be.
I do not understand how anyone can look at the mass shootings, domestic murders, and suicides committed with legal weapons and not wonder whether US gun laws are too lax.
Easy ownership of guns leads to unnecessary and senseless deaths.

Woah Ron, before you knock yourself off your horse, hold on for a second as I explain how these 3 problems can be fixed without limiting gun use towards citizens.
Mass shootings:
School shootings can be prevented by making school optional instead of mandatory by law
Terrorism attacks can be prevented by attempting to negotiate with the terrorists instead of refusing their offers
Domestic murders:
Murder as self defense from domestic abuse can be prevented by getting your significant other mental help before it gets too far
Murder from domestic violence can be prevented by talking to your significant other and convincing them not to kill you
Suicide:
Have you ever heard of the right to die

Could focus on better health care and root causes. Focusing on guns doesn’t help the people in situations where they feel murder is the best option.

You want going to school to be optional? Isn’t that going to one hell of an extreme to try and deal with shootings at school? What about all the shootings at schools which aren’t by students?
Terrorism attacks can be prevented by attempting to negotiate with the terrorists instead of refusing their offers
Why should negotiations be held with terrorists? To negotiate will only encourage terrorists to act as they have more chance to have at least some of their demands met.
Domestic murders:
Murder as self defense from domestic abuse can be prevented by getting your significant other mental help before it gets too far
It’s not always spotted nor is help always available, wanted or participated in by the individual. Also if domestic abuse are you expecting a) the one being abused to have the courage, strength, determination and ability to go and get help – that’s is some level of responsibility on their shoulders as usually they live in fear from their abuser and/or b) the abuser to own up so to get help as that is some very hopeful thinking.
Murder from domestic violence can be prevented by talking to your significant other and convincing them not to kill you.
Are you having a laugh?
Suicide:
Have you ever heard of the right to die
Yes, and in part i’m for it, but people in that position are not always thinking clearly so having such an option might not actually be best when help may be available in other ways.
This all seems like extremely flawed ideas to enable individuals to have guns. If someone wants a gun they will get one but having further checks and security in place will decrease the number of deaths by firearms.

If one really wanted to commit suicide, there are different ways to end one’s life. One doesn’t have to necessarily get a gun and shoot oneself in the head (or wherever).
We have gotten fearfully off-topic.
Today I learnt that humbucker pickups (on an electric guitar) are so called because they’re supposed to cancel out magnetic interference that causes a humming sound, hence the name: they ‘buck the hum’.

It is the ease of that method that others find appealing.
