Anyway, today I learnt that it is easier to type with a bottleneck slide on your ring finger than it is to type with the slide on your pinky. As for which I find more conducive to actual slide playing, the jury is still out… leaning toward the pinky though.

I guess just typing with your fingers isn’t hard enough.

Batgirl (she’s awful awful awful oh she’s awful) was added to Batman to uplift the series, it didn’t work.

Why did they opt for 911?

From the Almighty Wikipedia:

The Federal Communications Commission then met with AT&T in November 1967 in order to choose the number.

In 1968, the number was agreed upon. AT&T chose the number 9-1-1, which was simple, easy to remember, dialed easily, and worked well with the phone systems in place at the time.

Roughly 80% of plane malfunctions happen within 3 minutes after take off and 8 minutes before landing. Meaning, that if you’re not awake or aware during these times, your chance of surviving decreases dramatically

Just learnt the chords to English Tea (not enough slide, too many awkward chords) and That’s What It Takes (plenty of slide, too many key changes).

So now I can serenade my friends when inviting them to tea, and tell them, ‘Your smile it comes back to me, and whatever you may say, don’t let it stop; never fade away’. a-hard-days-night-george-9

Arthur Alexander “is the only songwriter whose songs have been covered on studio albums by the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan (who recorded “Sally Sue Brown” on his 1988 LP Down in the Groove).”

Wiki is the source so dont blame me if its wrong.

It’s believable enough. Also, I don’t want to take the time to figure out whether it’s true myself.

If you remove the studio stipulation Chuck Berry also qualifies.

Myself, I can’t think of any Dylan release (studio or live) of a Chuck Berry track.

After I posted this I found out that I was mistaken. It is technically true that all 3 have covered Chuck Berry but 1 would have 2 Delve into bootleg territory 2 hear the Bob Dylan cover. The original source from which I found this factoid did not make it clear whether the album It appeared on was bootleg or not.

Fact 1: Napoleon Bonaparte made recreational use of marijuana illegal in France after his soldiers began using it recreationally. Predictably they continued 2 use it recreationally.

Fact 2: When furniture stores have going out of business sales often the store is not going out of business at all butt rather ARE about 2 reopen under a different name. Often people pay more during these so-called liquidation sales and it is also done so people can’t return the furniture they buy.

I learned how to draw a graffiti letter “S”

WIN_20151029_193134-1.JPGImage Enlarger

(excuse the blurriness, I took the picture on my webcam 🙂 )

When I was in third grade, my classmates all showed each other how to make this.  They said it was a gang symbol.  They were full of it, of course.  It’s just a silly thing that’s fun to draw.

There is a bookshop in Glasgow that is always having liquidation sales yet remains in business as they then get new stock in; they now promote it as such. As people are stupid they rush in to buy books at prices that whilst are reduced are constant throughout all these sales.

Some low frequencies can make us feel weird or kinda sick. I was watching the Produced by George Martin documentary and there’s a moment where Paul and George MArtin are talking about that, and how Nazis used those low frequencies to make ppl feel unconfortable right before a Hitler’s speech, and that they turned them off in the very moment he came to stage. a-hard-days-night-ringo-14
