All around the chamber of the House of Representatives there are carvings of the faces of famous people related to law. Looking directly at the Speaker of the House’s chair is Moses. Pretty cool.

Apparently, one of the ways you’re supposed to have fun and be happy is to be selfish and break “social” rules. Can’t do that first thing or else I become a cocky bitch, but I’ve pretty much been breaking social rules for a while, so I think I’m good

Also, I can’t swear. Or else I get yelled at. By someone who swears every 5 minutes. Oops, looks like I should be in the Pet Peeves thread for that…. ahdn_paul_01

What are these “social” rules?

I thought he was more a beer, wine or champagne man. Is the ice for the bucket?

It’s kinda hard to explain, but it’s also kind of simple. Waving and saying “Hello” to someone you know if you see them in public is an example. Another is facing the door when you’re on an elevator. One that actually applies to kids at my school is coming to school dressed extremely formal because hey, nobody said you couldn’t!

Well, I’m probably about to upset string players here, but I have this youth guitar which has a broken string, so I turned it into a terribly tuned ukulele and taught myself a few chords from tabs. I play it fine but it sounds terrible. Learning is learning, I suppose.

I plan on getting a guitar this summer which will probably help the low-funded string situation. 🙂

Homo sapiens did not evolve in the Home Counties, nor London. Not the Midlands, Manchester or Liverpool. Nor Wales or the Lake District. Not even Gretna Green or Glasgow. Apparently, you go back far enough, we’re all Africans.

So, what’s with all this race thing?

Fun fact, we aren’t all from Africa 100% since humans breed with Neanderthals a long time ago and they are from Eurasia. There are some people walking around that are not technically fully human.

But, even then, Homo sapiens and Neanderthals are thought to have a common ancestor, the first to break out of Africa, Homo heidelbergenis, with Homo sapiens evolving from the African branch of the species, and Neanderthals from the Eurasian branch. As I said, you go back far enough, we’re all African.

If we keep going back, we all have a common ancestor on some asteroids and the ocean.

Race is a social construct. There is only one race on this planet and that is called an earthling.

No, a race is a competition between runners, horses, vehicles, boats, etc., to see which is the fastest in covering a set course.
