I spend enough time here, no idea how you manage to be active on four.
@meanmistermustard that would be 71,416 posts for you between 4 different forums if you were to match your prodigious posting practices perpetrated here.

Never knew this.
Paul and Julian appeared together on NBC’s ‘Friday Night Video’s’ back in November 1984. Here’s the trailer.
Then you read it was accidental.
Earlier in the day, Paul records an interview at New York’s Carlyle Hotel for NBC TV’s Friday Night Videos, a show which also features an interview with Julian Lennon. Due to Julian being caught in a traffic jam, which means he arrives later for his taping session, they accidentally meet for the first time in 10 years. Paul and Julian’s separate interviews are transmitted on Friday November 16.

No idea where to put this.
Read recently that Paul has had more solo (ie after the split in 1970) US #1’s than John, George and Ringo combined.
Paul – 7: ‘Uncle Albert /Admiral Halsey ‘, ‘My Love’, ‘Band On The Run ‘, ‘Listen To What The Man Said’, ‘Silly Love Songs’, ‘With A Little Luck’, ‘Coming Up (Live)’.
George – 2: ‘My Sweet Lord ‘/’Isn’t It A Pity ‘, ‘Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)’.
Ringo – 2: ‘Photograph’, ‘You’re Sixteen’.
John – 2: ‘Whatever Gets You Thru The Night ‘, ‘Just Like (Starting Over).
Cool and weird that John, George and Ringo are all equal on 2.

Paul was more pop than the others so it would fit.

Shouldn’t Ebony And Ivory be on the list for McCartney? It topped the Billboard Hot 100, which seems to be the standard US singles chart (ignorant Brit here).

Could be. To be honest forgot the song existed.
Looking at wiki so did ‘Say Say Say’ (another song I forgot existed, well less forgot more deliberately deleted from my memory). Maybe what I read meant non duet, i dont know.
So that would be 9 US #1’s, a whole 50% more than the other three combined.

As of today, I can play ‘Brain Damage’ on me guitar. I can also sing it. But not, unfortunately, both at the same time.
I can play the bass part whilst singing, though
I find it very comforting that they didn’t have to sing and play the guitar part, because Roger sanged it and played the bass.
I also learned that it’s somewhat possible for the drummer to play 4/4 whilst the entire rest of the band is playing triplets… it doesn’t sound very good though

That’s an interesting statistic but hardly surprising given Paul’s output. Ad40 brings up a great point as well about Paul’s style being more conducive to # 1’s.
As for counting the duets (‘E & I’, ‘SSS’), I don’t see why they wouldn’t count when considering Wings songs also made the list. If “solo” work includes groups, why not duets?
Unless, like mmm and I, wiki is in denial about the very existence of those two songs.

It should also be noted that both are singles from McCartney albums.
It’s not like The Girl Is Mine reached #1 and we’re having to decide whether a track from a Michael Jackson album should count.
