The 40th birthday of Bohemian Rhapsody was apparently yesterday. Oh, the random crap I learn…
Yeah. There is a long documentary on the track, I would post it but Roger Taylor and Brian May are obnoxious stuck-up tosspots who I cannot stand.

Who says the crap you learn is random, @natureaker? I always believe the crap I know is for a reason I am yet to discover.

Did you know polite particle for the male in Thai is khrap? Khrap intersperses every sentence, Khrap.
Ladies cannot say ‘Khrap’ unless they are speaking to a small child….ladies say softly…….’Ka’.
By-the-way the thai word for crap as we know it is ‘Kee’ pronounced the same as our ‘Key’……..Can be confusing at hotel desks.
Last lesson……the name for sticky-rice is Kow neow……You know already the word for s**t……is ‘Kee’.
If some one is mean with their money here they are called ‘Kee neow’ Sticky s**t……..A bit like our ‘tight arse’
Word of the day, khrap was brought to you by Wigwam khrap.

How appropriate that you should post that here, @Wigwam, that we should all learn something new today.

I learnt that a chord in Here, There And Everywhere , which I’d been wondering about for some time, is a F#m7Bb5. Or something ridiculous like that. Anyways, I’m happy I can play it properly.

BEATLES SONGS IN MY COUNTRY ARE BANNED FOR COPYRIGHT REASONS
I can only listen to I’m A Loser
The only real problem I have with this is I cannot add Annacrombie and Scritch’s latest masterwork to my Beatles Bible stories YouTube playlist. It’ll only play for me on Dailymotion.

Yeah, I saw the whole documentary. Though, half the time I was going “Please shut up and pick up the pace a bit! I don’t have all day!”
Back to what I learned:
I learned that substitutes in class are the most annoying things of life

The Dark Side Of The Moon album by Pink Floyd was recorded at Abbey Road Studios
*types this while listening to the album*
Also, cutting down stuff like bushes, thorns, trees ect. make a place just seem so empty – like it’s all new. And I just learned that from experience

I learned possibly the most beautiful chord progression ever written– that of George’s I’d Have You Anytime .
I mean, just strumming the chords by themselves, no melody or slide guitar or anything, it’s just one of the finest chord progressions I ever did hear. And Something has a really good chord line, so that’s saying something… no pun intended.

I also learned that good headphones make the whole world better. If everyone could be given a pair of good headphones and some Beatles music, there would be world peace. Okay, perhaps not. Still, the effect is really incredible.
As a result of learning this, I learned what is being whispered during the second half of Ballad Of Sir Frankie Crisp, underneath it all. You can just hear it normally, and with headphones you can sort of make out what is being said– it sounds like ‘ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp’.

I can’t really say I learned it today, but I learn all the time that it is easier than ever to learn something new every day. People like Silly Girl who don’t even remember pre-Internet days would not beilieve how benighted we were.

Beatlebug, trcanberraI say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

And would not “beilieve” how easy it was to misspell without autocorrect.

No, I wouldn’t believe it, considering I never use autocorrect unless I’m feeling really lazy
