That’s indeed awesome! On a similar topic: In physics class we have quantum mechanics at the moment and we watched a video about quantum entanglement and the professor in this video said that it’s possible all particles in the universe are still entangled as they were as the big bang happened and therefore space is only a construct, an illusion of distance. That’s quite simplified but still mind-blowing.
I’m fascinated by quantum mechanics although I’ve only read general layman type books on it. Have you learnt about the double slit experiment? The thing that I find most fascinating is that it seems to confirm that our perception creates reality. Or the act of observing matter physically alters it. I’ve also explored lots of links between quantum mechanics and Zen Buddhism which might sound unlikely. Oops maybe I’m going off topic.

We have also only covered the topic quite simplified but we have learnt about the double slit experiment and about the change in the outcome when you observe the electrons. That has really been an astonishing insight because it sounds so strange and against intuition at the first moment. So far, I’ve not thought about parallels to Zen Buddhism but I will definitely read about it now.
Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

Try learning 10 songs in one day and then learning about common as well as uncommon chord progressions.
I suggest Rock And Roll Music . Three chords in the whole song. Twist And Shout is the same. Polythene Pam too.

I find most three-chord songs excessively boring, with the exception of ‘Dominoes’ by Syd Barrett. ‘Burning Bridges’ was great, though — it had this crazy jazzy Rick Wright chord progression that went from G to Dbmaj7, love it!

Why does it need to be in spoilers, it’s not like knowing how to play a 50 year old song deserves a spoiler alert. Also, if you don’t like reading tabs, I could try to help you out using Facebook messenger or Google hangouts video chat if you’d like, although I must warn you, I duck taped my integrated laptop webcam so You Won’t See Me at all and I need to know how to get that stuff to work on Internet Explorer, which is the browser I use, mainly because I’m so used to it and hate how other browsers like Chrome want you logged in all of the time, here’s my setup if you’re curious:
Windows 8 with Internet Explorer using Google as homepage, when I press on Internet Explorer icon in bottom toolbar, it sends me to InPrivate browsing, Google also opens when I open up a new tab and I constantly flush my DNS, I like my privacy.

Spoilers make the page load faster. It’s also less annoying to have it in a spoiler, so people who don’t want to read your sometimes disgustingly long lists don’t have to.

It should be in a spoiler, @Dark Overlord, because – as someone for whom it is all Greek – I don’t want to scroll through overly long posts that convey nothing to me.
Were you to put the bulk of these long information posts under spoilers, I would respect you a whole lot more.
A spoiler is not always used to cover something the poster wants hidden, rather regularly they are used to shorten long posts so other forum don’t have to scroll the full length of a post every time they enter that page.

But think of it from my point of view, if I spend 3 hours on a single post, I want everyone to read it, if I put it in spoilers, some people might think that it’s not worth reading and will not read it and then I feel like I wasted my time, I have written several posts that took me over 2 hours and I would hate to see them be ignored.

I scroll past posts like that anyway. I am not going to read that stuff that I don’t understand. The only thing you are accomplishing by not using a spoiler is annoying people and making them not appreciate your posts as much.

But think of it from my point of view, @Dark Overlord, and many others here.
I read everything on these forums, but nothing pisses me off more than a long list that isn’t under a spoiler – I will just scroll through rather than pay attention because it’s a feck off.
Your points are better conveyed if you learn how to present them. Spend three hours writing a post and not present it right, few will do anything but scroll through.
I don’t pay attention to your shouty posts. I might if you had more humble posts that said, “This is my take, see spoiler”.
The constant being loud is difficult not to demolish. You have much to contribute, but you need to calm down a littke, IMO.

After buying the rights to film the book Psycho, Alfred Hitchcock reportedly sent his secretary around to buy as many copies of the book as she could find in an effort to keep the twist at the end a secret. In addition, he did not allow anyone to see the film early, critics included. Further, he encouraged theater owners to lock theater doors at the beginning of the movie’s showing. Once the movie was finished playing, a recording of his voice was played where he pleaded moviegoers not to spoil the ending for people who had not seen the film.

I saw Psycho when I was like 8, the smile at the end scared the living bejaysus out of me but man it had a great payoff. It’s crap to know the ending to it before you watch it because there is great tension throughout the flick.
