Never heard of it. Actually didnt know it existed until this post.
Most tv shows come hyped nowadays, regardless of whether its a multi-million pound drama or the daily cycle of paint drying. Everything is edited to make it louder, shockingier, incredibler, thrillingier and many other words that some over-paid 30 year olds have invented to make people think life will end if they miss it (it wont). Most forget character development, believabilty, plot, language which isnt so patheticly unrealistic, and think the secret to good tv is that a camera has to spin around all the friggin time and shake like there is a 9.8 earthquake occuring whilst music blasts out in the background.
Either that or its a celebrity documentary where some nonentity you dont care about is sent to document and/or investigate something which could be interesting if it wasnt all about that damn celeb who is braindead, hogs the camera so you see zilch, ignores the subject, talks to you like youre a baffoon who thinks the tv control is loo paper, and leaves you at the end wondering why the heck you spent time on such unbelievable crap having learnt nothing new. Latest fad is Professor Brian Cox “a star is in the sky and is far away so you cant touch it so dont try. Look im very smart and clever and in the Sahara desert whereas youre in house crushing potato chips into youre mouth and getting fat.”
Go Away!!
Sorry for the rant but i detest how we are being fed dumbed down s**t and we sit and watch it. Not saying that The Waking Dead is just that thats the way TV is going with millions watching prime-time garbage.

Okay… Nominations for two craziest posts in a row are open.
The Walking Dead in an excellent show. While yes, it does contain remarkable violence, the show is a sombre look at how even after humanity is almost eradicated, its worst foe is itself.
So that being said… With such a grim opening, this should be our ‘Walking Dead’ thread!
E is for 'Ergent'.

Ha ha, I understand. I’m not saying others shouldn’t enjoy the show. I just think it changed a bit since the first season, and not to my liking. That’s all.

I watched the first couple of episodes of this when it debuted (mostly ’cause it’s on AMC, home of Mad Men & Breaking Bad, my two must-see TV programs) and couldn’t get into it. Really, I am so sick to death (or sick to UNdeath, I guess) of all these bloody zombie programs/movies/games/whatever. I find them even more one-dimensional and redundant than all those tedious 80s slasher movies.
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

I agree that the first season was best, but that’s to be expected from any show. I love the episode from last night, even though my second favorite guy is gone (don’t want to spoil who it is that leaves).
"I'd tell her I love her, but she'd only reject me in the end and I'd be frustrated. That's why I play guitar; it's my active compensatory factor" -Ringo said something like this once, I changed it up a bit.

I never got into it or True Blood. I know a lot of people who watch them. Like vonbontee said its become redundant.
