Well, surgery was done and on first inspection went well. I have a day of tests ahead to see how things stand.Things appear to going as well as would be wanted.
Got back home to a card from AG and Ahhh Mom wishing me well.
Would have posted sooner but I’ve been mainly sleeping the past few days.
Good to hear it, hopefully the test results are positive for going forward.
Sleep when you need to, post when you can.

Offline My tests had to be cancelled this week due to Omicron. I’m not too worried as they hope to get me in before the New Year, possibly next week or between Chrimble and New Year. With the last three days breaking the records for daily infections since the pandemic began, I don’t mind not having to go near a hospital while it’s climbing.
Should get my 4th jab (because I’m immunocompromised) at my doctor’s surgery next week.

Offline Well, just took a lateral flow test and that was negative (which it should bloody well be after four jabs), which means today is a day of being poked and prodded at the Princess Royal to see how things are looking after the surgery. Appointment is in about 90 minutes so getting ready to go jump on a bus.

Offline Well, sadly not in remission, but vast improvement on where it was. Now classified as Stage I rather than borderline IIA. Another round of chemo in the next few weeks, probably mid-February.
While not the best news, it is still good news. May not be completely fixed but a good way down the road, and hopefully the next round gets me all the way there.
