Always on a high –is it achievable?
Family life OR professional success (saying “both” is out of the question)

Family life. Have been brought to appreciate that family comes first. I’d rather be broke and living a crummy life but maintain healthy positive family relations than be successful to the detriment of my family.
Taking the easy shortcut for average results or going the long route to try and achieve the best possible outcome?

I guess it would depend on how committed you are to whatever you’re doing, but in a general way I prefer the second option.
Quentin Tarantino: Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction?

“Dogs”. Maybe I would’ve liked PF more if I saw it first, but I basically thought it was a letdown after a brilliant debut. (“Jackie Brown” is QT’s real highwater mark if you ask me.)
“Pulp Fiction” or “Forrest Gump”? (The Gimp vs. the Gump!)
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

Direct or round-about?
I prefer direct when talking rather than dilly dallying around.

Well, neither. I’m working on my confrontation-avoiding skills, which implies that I wouldn’t even beat around the bush. I try to put on my stiff-upper-lip face and gently evade the uncomfortable situation.
Mediterranean effusiveness or aristocratic aloofness?

Alas! One week had flown by and nobody has answered my question. Too stupid? Too weird? I face it every day since the desired middle way eludes me. Reply, oh, Beatle Biblers, reply!

Silver or gold?

I’ve always loved silver more, find it just plain more attractive, plus it reflects things the way they are, and not with an ugly yellowish tinge. (Obviously I’m overlooking the monetary aspect entirely.)
Bells or whistles?
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.
