Christmas day. That’s when you finally open the presents and go on vacation in my house. I enjoy Christmas day.

McCartney or McCartney II ?

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

McCartney II ‘. ‘McCartney’ is less fully formed in my opinion wheras whilst ‘McCartney II ‘ has that same experimental aspect and feel the actual songs come across as more thought out. Plus ‘On The Way’ is one of my most favourite of Paul’s songs.

Continuing on with McCartney albums –

Run Devil Run ‘ or ‘Choba B CCCP’

"I told you everything I could about me, Told you everything I could" ('Before Believing' - Emmylou Harris)

Choba B CCCP . It’s full of good covers of the old rock & roll that I like. A very good specialty of rock and roll as a gift for the Soviet Union.

Anyways,

Christmas ham or turkey?

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

Not a fan of lamb – I’ll take the chickens.

Adam 12 or Emergency! ?

To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

I’d have to say Adam 12 just to get the ball rolling again.

Create a new thread or revive an old one?

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

Zig said
Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

Gee that’s a tough one @Zig. In my family Christmas Eve’s dinners were a huge thing…; on the other hand on Christmas Day we opened the presents… Can’t make up my mind, they come together.

Thanks for the link, @thisbirdhasflown; I watched the video and it seems to me that the Rickenbacker 325c64 is a more versatile guitar than the Fender Stratocaster; better for strumming too. I have a Fender and will probably (assuming there’s money) buy a guitar with a sweeter, more mellow sound in the future. So I guess you know my answer to your question…

EDIT: I didn’t realize some many people had posted after Zig; my apologies. My answer would be to create a new topic. Now my question…

The Iliad or the Odyssey?

I’d have to say the Iliad. An extensively written epic about the tales of the Trojan War. But if you ask me, both are written well and have stood for over 2000 years. Quite hard to read, though.

Rock or country music?

That is a hard one. Erm. I go for Rock but with so many stipulations one being Emmylou Harris is Country And I Love Her music, another that i detest 80’s rock like Bon Jovi.

Festive Edition

Mull Of Kintyre ‘ (Paul’s 1977 Christmas #1) or ‘Wonderful Christmastime ‘ (Pauls 1979 Christmas single)

Don’t me me for this, but I have to go with Wonderful Christmastime . It brings so much nostalgia, and who can resist its ’80s cheese? (probably a lot of people, but I can’t get enough!)

Rocket Man or Space Oddity?

Because , because the harmonies here sound very harmonious.

If you could have one of these ladies as a friend, who would you choose- Lady Gaga or Yoko Ono?

^Well, that’s a strange question from you Ahhh Girl, is there anything goin’ on your mind.

Answer: Being cheated, you get a lot of sympathies which helps a lot and I don’t like to cheat.

I couldn’t live with being the one who did the cheating, all the pain that would cause to my partner. No thanks.

Matches or Candles?

That is a wonderful answer, @Hey Jude !. I’m quite impressed.

I just watched The English Patient again upon @Oudis’s recommendation. The character I felt the most sympathy for was Mr. Clifton. He was the one cheated upon by his wife Katherine. So, yes, it does get you the sympathy votes.

EDIT: I just saw your answer, mmm. Also excellent.

Some one continue on with mmm’s question: Matches or Candles?

Hardcovers, of course. They’re more traditional and classic, they last longer, they look great on you bookshelves.

Star Trek: Captains James Tiberius Kirk or Captain Jean Luc Picard?

Kirk.jpgImage Enlarger

[Post Scriptum: All the main characters in The English Patient (see above) seem to be doomed, as if Destiny had traced a path for them to follow towards their own destruction (no, let me rephrase that: all the main characters of the story that takes place in Africa; not the nurse and the Sikh that meet in Italy). That’s another reason why I love the movie: it reminds me of a Greek tragedy. The Talented Mr. Ripley, also by Anthony Minghella, is the same.]

Doctor- doctors know not only about illegal drugs but also legal drugs as well and they can be just as fun (and dangerous of course- can I be the sensible police?)

Sean Lennon’s music career or Julian Lennon’s music career?

Yes I did just pit two half-brothers against each other, I’m evil….mwahahaha.
