21b Baker Street. I’m a huge fan or Sherlock Holmes and know nothing of American hardboiled novels (what is a hardboiled novel anyway?)
@meanmistermustard:
So am I, but I also like the hardboiled tradition.
Cheers.

Africa. ^There’s actually a lot to see, Pyramids of Giza, Wildlife, Table mountain, Victoria falls, Mount Kilimanjaro… Just to name a few.
Oh, staying awake @Hey Jude !, watching movies, smoking, drinking stout, chatting with friends or my special someone, reading a book… Now that I’m retired (or semi retired) I can sleep in in the mornings.
And I agree with @Beatleva, there is a lot to see in Africa. I’ve only been to South Africa and for a couple of days but the landscape is amazing. I hope to see the Sahara one day… (I’ve been obsessed with it since I heard Sting’s Tea in the Sahara and saw The English Patient)
James Bond: Sean Connery (the first James Bond) or Daniel Craig (the latest)? (The young generation will surely reply “Craig”, but we older folks know James Bond is Sean Connery –but feel free to state your opinion)

Sean. Daniel Craig is amazing as Bond, bringing depth, an edge and anger to the role that had been lacking for so long, but there is something different to Sean’s that no-one has matched. If i knew what it was i’d say.
The non-UK folk might not know what i’m on about but Doctor Who or Sherlock (the recent BBC1 TV depictions of both)?

I’d say charisma.

Honey Boo or Duck Dynasty (tv shows)? They are both horrible in my opinion, but….choose
honey boo boo since I was forced to see several episodes of duck dynasty and found it bad and misleading (There weren’t any ducks)
In or out?

Why would you want to kill lots of ducks? Is duck a popular option on a menu nowadays?
Everyone got inspired by the game duck hunt and people do eat a lot of duck

Keith Richard’s playing style or David Gilmour’s playing style
(Im not asking which guitarist made better music, just simply pick the one whose style is appealing to you)
Keith Richard’s style appeals to me much more than David Gilmour’s, although I like them both. I’ve read somewhere Keith uses alternative tunings on his guitar, and that’s the way he sounds like he does. I’d like to experiment with those alternative tunings myself (now that I think about it, I might start a new thread…)
As guitarists/composers (considering both things at the same time), Eric Clapton or Mark Knopfler?
