No idea what a Reuben sandwich is and a BLT has bacon so its a BLT (tho the tomato gets taken out and thrown in the compost bin).
Cheer Down or Cheer Up?
(Edit: Just googled ‘reuben sandwich’. People eat that?! I detest corned beef.)

The Hokey Pokey or the Chicken Dance?
I answered @Zig with The Hokey Poke – on roller skates.
I’m changing my question in my last post to this
The Hokey Pokey or the Hippy Hippy Shake?
I’m going to go ahead and give my answer. I choose Hippy Hippy Shake. This post was conceived as a result of this activity.
I spent time comparing Dizzy Miss Lizzy with Hippy Hippy Shake. I have Hippy Hippy Shake on my mp3 player 9 times. I don’t know how many of them are different versions or if I just have the same versions several times from several legal sources and bootlegs. Anyway, at 7:00 this morning, I took the dog for a walk and started playing the the 9 Shakes that I have. I found myself putting a lot of HIP action into HIPpy HIPpy Shake while I was walking. I hope none of the neighbors were up early on a Saturday making coffee and looking out their kitchen windows at me. Well, by the time it was over for the 9th time, we were near the lake. So, I went down there and hid among the trees so that I could do the “with all of your might” part and not be seen.
Well now you shake it to the left
Shake it to the right
Do the hippy shake shake
With all of your might
That was an extremely good workout!!

Attack or defend?
@meanmistermustard,
Thanks for your wonderful question. I wish I could say “attack” –that would make me a more assertive man, maybe an achiever. Unfortunately I’m a self-effacing, even self-deprecating kind of guy, so I have to say “defend”.
My question: a life full of glory, triumphs, glamour, the realization of your dreams –but short, incredibly short (dying before 25)? Or a simple life with a wife/husband, children, grandchildren, a dog or two, a mortgage and the routine of a boring job –but living till you’re ninety?

First one for me. I’d want the max age to be 5 or at the most 8. My childhood was glorious. How much glamour does a 5 year old need? My dreams were realized each day.

Monkberry Moon Delight seems more mysterious, so out of curiosity I’d choose that.

I’ll go with everything –all you dreams fulfilled your goals achieved, your passions realized. Of course it is impossible but I’ve tried nothing –the ascetic life of a monk or a Spartan– and found out that the full emptiness that Chan (or Zen) Buddhism talks about is not for me; it’s simply the denial of one’s self.
Apollonian or Dionysian?
(The Apollonian and Dionysian is a philosophical dichotomy, based on certain features of ancient Greek mythology. Many Western philosophical and literary figures have invoked this dichotomy in critical and creative works. In Greek mythology, Apollo and Dionysus are both sons of Zeus. Apollo is the god of reason and the rational, while Dionysus is the god of the irrational and chaos. The Apollonian is based on reason and logical thinking. By contrast, the Dionysian appeals to the emotions and instincts. The content of all great tragedy is based on the tension created by the interplay between these two. MORE HERE:

I spent some time a few years ago looking at these topics with Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, and that crew. Oh how I want to say “emotion”, but I think I am forever locked into “reason”.

Great question! Funny Paper has already replied so I won’t, but it’s another interesting question in this thread.
