Letting your 9-year old daughter fire an UZI at a “Burgers ‘n Bullets” family-fun rifle range, or thinking it’s a terrible idea and refusing?

Tennis because Maria Sharapova’s shrieking amuses me. Plus golf is boring and (for me) difficult.
“Day Tripper ” or “We Can Work It Out “?

Country. Living in the Midwestern United States, at an early age, I listened to country music (until I discovered the Beatles!!!!) Nowadays, you cannot classify what they call “country” as actual country, it’s just pop crap (you hear me, Taylor Swift?) Meanwhile, rap was crap from the beginning, so don’t even bother!!!!!!
By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

Paperback’s more portable, but hardback’s nicer. Does that count as choosing?
Looking for a thread I saw the posts VB started, and although I don’t listen to either:

Zig, Captain Beefheart was Zappa’s teenage friend/rival/occasional collaborator, and a genius (even weirder than Zappa!) recording artist in his own right. He specialized in REALLY warped (beyond psychedelic) blues-derived stuff. I started a RIP thread for him when he died back in December ’10. His 1969 “Trout Mask Replica” album is one of my Top Ten of all time! There’s a semi-famous 1967 picture (you’ve surely seen it) of John Lennon lying in his sunroom reading, with a bumper sticker reading “Safe As Milk” on the cupboard behind him – a sticker that was incuded with Beefheart’s ’67 debut album of the same name. (There’s two stickers, actually – John liked the album enough to buy two copies!) His second album (1968) has a song called “Beatle Bones and Smoking Stones”!
Now you’ve heard of Captain Beefheart. My work here is done!
