Baseball. What’s your favorite team?

Battle of the single named bassists: Flea or Sting?

I’m too late for this one, but Sting because he’s an amazing bassist who can keep complicated rhythms while singing the melody. Which is part of the reason The Police are my second favorite band!

To the above question: Clapton, because…. Clapton.

Should be easy: purple haze or purple rain?

Purple Haze for sure. I honestly had to look up what Purple Rain was, but when I figured out it was by Prince, I didn’t even bother to research anymore.a-hard-days-night-ringo-13 Funny story about Purple Haze… I was in science class last year, and my class was watching a Bill Nye The Science Guy video. At the end of his videos, he always does a parody of a song to sum up what he was trying to teach in the video. The song was based off of Purple Haze, and I say excitedly, “I love this song!” Dead silence. *crickets chirping* a-hard-days-night-ringo-14

Now, back on topic… Indie Rock or Punk Rock (two ends of the spectrum) I say Indie Rock. Don’t judge.

I don't expect you... to understand after you've caused so much pain. But then again, you're just a human... a victim of the insane.

Purple Haze is better, but Purple Rain is excellent. Give it a listen.

Going by iTunes (admittedly idiotic) genres, I have

punk: The Clash, Green Day, The Pogues

indie: Radiohead, Oas…. look if it’s saying Radiohead and Oasis are indie, I don’t know what’s not indie. Stupid iTunes.

If going by those, indie wins.

But, since iTunes is stupid, punk is actually better.

Rain or snow?

Rain . I can’t stand snow. More shoveling. a-hard-days-night-ringo-14 Plus Rain is also the name of my favorite song.

Mexican or Italian? I LOVE Italian. My favorite kind of food.

Ice Cream, not a big fan of cake as too many are either too sickly or too dry.

Mars bar or snickers?

Is the Mars bar sold in the US different from the UK version?

Speaking of US versions, I’m going with Snickers.

Jeff Beck or Jimmy Page? I personally like Jeff Beck’s style better as a guitar player.

Gotta go with Page. As cool as Jeff Beck’s melodic voicings are, they get kinda tiring after so many songs using it. You’d think at some point he’d jsut find a vocalist to help him. Page is also a master of rhythm, and I’ve a deep respect for that.

Now, Jimmy Page or Eric Clapton is a challenge! (That’s the question, by the way)

If you want to hear a Jeff Beck piece with a vocalist, listen to Going Down. It’s a seriously good rocker. And to answer your question, I’d go with Clapton.

I saw Beck in 1981, just a 3 piece band, but for the encore he sang I’m Goin Down.  He did rock it out.

I’d have to go with Clapton over just about any other electric guitarist.  His volume and diversity of work really stands out to me.  I mean I guess he kinda shares the #1 spot with Jimi and Les, but EC has 50 years under his belt.

Matches for the after smell.

Doing the Hokey-Pokey or the Limbo?

@Matt Busby This game is played by answering the last question posed and then asking a new question for someone to answer. It is ok to answer a previous question inside your post, but remember to answer the most recent question and ask a new one. It is quite a fun game. I have to hold back sometimes and wait for a question I can actually answer. Some of them I have no clue about. It is a learning experience for me.

Coke or Pepsi? Coke I’d say, even though I really don’t like soda.

Matches. My hometown is famous for a match factory that doesn’t exist anymore. There’s a parade named for it every year.

Ahhh Girl. I accidentally messed up the rules of the game by answering just one question with each post. Sorry.

So… #2 pencil or mechanical pencil? I prefer mechanical because there’s no sharpening and the writing looks clearer and nicer.

Not sure where we are so will go with “pencil or mechanical pencil” – mechanical. No fighting when the lead keeps breaking to the extent you have to get the knife out to shave the end of the pencil.

Tablet or fudge (this means the food stuff nothing else)?

@dr-winston-oboogie

If you want to answer more than one question, don’t quote the question. Just type it in and make your response. That will make it much easier for you. The quoting can become tricky.

I will reply to your latest question asked.

Mechanical all the way. For years now.

meanmistermustard, to answer your last question, I’d say fudge. I really don’t know all that much about chocolate tablets and have never had one before.

For your first question Ahhh Girl, markers for sure. I just can’t stand how coloring with crayons look.

For your second question, you just switched the order of the previous one you asked. Just letting you know.

Waffles or Pancakes. I like frozen waffles better, but I prefer pancakes at restaurants. But waffles also taste delicious at restaurants, so I’ll say waffles. I know, I know, quite a strange self-conflict I was just having with myself. a-hard-days-night-ringo-14
