Jay Leno or Conan O’brien? (I choose Conan all the way)
"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

Don’t really get much of either over here. Jay Leno was a great fan of Bill (and help to) though, so Jay every time.
French Fries or Freedom Fries?
(I often have a response but sometimes struggle to come up with the next choice!)

French fries. What are freedom fries? Potatoes that have been liberated?
Torrential downpour or Galeforce winds?
Freedom fries was a renaming of French fries that took place in America in 2003 in protest to the French opposition to the Iraq War.
Torrential downpour, generally less damage.
BB King or Muddy Waters?

Damn, I can’t give a definitive answer! (’80s Metallica over ’80s Priest but ’70s Priest waayyy over post-’80s Metallica)
Someone else take this one!

Question has to be ’80s Metallica against ’70s Priest. And I think with Metallica it’s into early-90s (I love Enter Sandman, which is ’91). For me, Metallica.
Paul Simpsons or George Simpsons (chosen these two because the Ringo Simpsons is a more involved episode, whereas these were worked into stories that could exist without the guest appearances)?

mja, that question (w/Ringo Simpsons included) is awesome and worthy of a thread all its own!

I thought it was a good one myself. Notice you didn’t answer, “old man”! Two posts on this thread without choosing! Are you trying to keep your lead on us “young whippersnappers”?

Haha no, but it is a nice secondary benefit! Mostly it’s a case of (a) being bored at work on slow Friday afternoon and (b) wanting to provide nice non-answer quasi-answers so I can give my opinion on stuff while still giving other the chance to answer and think up their own choices for people to choose. (Clever and considerate!)
