Mozart or Dave Brubeck?

I haven’t heard much of either (Wolfie: two late symphonies, a few string quartets/quintets, coupla piano sonatas and assorted odds & ends; Dave: a single LP) but I’ll say Brubeck, because the next time I listen to “Time Out”, I can post “Recorded August 18, 1959.. Quarrymen rehearse for next week’s opening of the Casbah Club,” whereas I don’t know what the Beatles were doing in the 18th century.

Elementary Penguin asked: Marvel or DC?

GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

^Pepperland obviously, anybody can go on a strange bus trip but to be in a cartoon world- that’d be great fun (for a day or two then I imagine you’d get bored).

Blue biro. My experiences with black biros all include ink spots all over my hands, for some reason…

Bebop or Cool Jazz?

Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

Bop for me, cool seemed like a step sideways. Plus usually I’ll take music that rocks over that which doesn’t, and cool jazz rocks less. Plus it’s a bit fussy.

Foreheads or Chins?

I liked em both from the moment they came out, but the former was the first time the phrase “screw it” got played on pop radio afaik, which I thought was pretty cool at the time. It wins.

“Rode all night” or “Well well well”?

Difficult choice. I love the incredible energy of the guitar in Rode All Night, it never seems to stop. But Well, Well, Well has also got a great energy and additionally an ‘I don’t give a damn’ feeling about it which I sometimes find cool. But I think I’ll go with Rode All Night because the energy in this song resembles a happy freaking out while the energy in Well Well Well is more aggressive.

Having a steady but boring job which leaves enough free time for a hobby or having a paperback-writer kind of job which is exciting and maybe even a passion but takes up all your time.

Same. It’d probably be a nice pattern or something if I did change one the screens, but for now, it’s a default picture on both.

Off-white. I find full-on white to be a little too bright for some things, like walls and furniture and such.
