If you were going to buy a Fender Stratocaster 55 years ago, would you go for sunburst or would you pay the extra 5% and go for a custom color like Olympic white, candy apple red, sonic blue, seafoam green, etc. (custom color means any color but sunburst in the Strat’s case (Blonde in Tele’s case)).
