(I don’t think either of those two are underrated! Brian May used to win polls all the time, anyways.)
Brian May – I really like his melodicism, plus he had a talent for multitracked guitar orchestration and unusual tones. I never thought Hammett was particularly unique – didn’t Hetfield play most of the guitar tracks except the solos, anyways?
Hiccups or coughing fit?
Correct answer is HICCUPS! 90% of the time they can be instantly stopped by simply swallowing a spoon of sugar. Can’t do that with a cough.

I haven’t seen a top guitarists list that has Brian on it. Actually, Gibson made a top 50 guitarists of all time list that doesn’t have him on it at all yet for some reason they put Kurt Cobain on the list for some reason. I would’ve picked Brian May myself especially with solos like Killer Queen and Bohemian Rhapsody. As for Kirk and James, Kirk plays lead guitar, so he plays the leads and solos, as well as playing sometimes playing the riffs in unison with James (similar to how John and George sometimews played the exact same thing on guitar for songs like Tell Me Why and Nowhere Man ) and James plays rhythm as well as the 1st solo on Master Of Puppets.
Hiccups because they go away quickly.
What do you think is the best guitar solo of all time, the main solo on Stairway To Heaven or another guitar solo?

Do you consider the round round round section of Dear Prudence a guitar solo or not?

I hope you don’t mind me doing this but since it’s been over a week since anyone has last posted here, i don’t see a problem with me answering my own question and asking another one.

I reckon that’s fine to revive the thread!
I dunno… I could easily get away with a small, upright piano, or even a keyboard, though grand pianos are very good…
I’d probably have to go for the pool though.

Definitely the piano, I hate swimming anyway. That’s a tough one Holey but I’ll go for Hello Goodbye because Ringo’s drumming.
Whose hair: Robert Plant’s
or Jeff Lynne’s?
For me, Robert Plant’s ‘do wins by a hair (pun intended). They both have impressive mops.

Haha the first one! It’s so startling, in that Albert Hall concert seeing him wearing that totally down to earth (and comfortable looking) jumper & jeans combo…I don’t like for bands to think they have to wear some sort of uniform, and Jimmy’s Dragon outfit was definitely that.
Pine trees or maple trees? Please give a reason for your choice (“because I said so” counts as a reason)

Maple because there’s no such thing as a pine fretboard.
What long rock song do you prefer, The Prophet’s Song by Queen or One by Metallica?

I dunno, I like it when musicians put a bit of thought into what they wear, especially when they’re as flamboyant-persona-image as the Zepp. I guess I just like my guitar gods wearing cool clothes (the more the better — none of that bare-chest nonsense ).
Maple trees are lovely in every way, not just for fretboards.

I guess I kinda feel that for ROCK GOD JIMMY PAGE to be wearing something so dorky as a sweater vest is like he’s saying he’s so cool, he doesn’t need to look cool!

They’re both adorable! I truly can’t decide between a dog who wants to play and a dog who’s tuckered out from play…I’ll choose the first one, just because I like the photograph better – that expectant look in Stella’s eyes!
Handclaps or tambourine? What makes better background percussion?
