Also thought of @Wigwam when Jennifer gives Marty her grandmother’s phone number and the first three digits are 555
You will be thinking of him quite often. 555 is the most commonly used fictitious phone number prefix in film/TV because, except for very rare examples, it does not exist in real life.

I would be hard pushed to think of one film where I wouldn’t want to slap the kids or see them get taken out to the woods and left in hungry bear territory. I know its wrong but they always come across as unbearable little irritants. Thankfully I haven’t met any in real life yet.
You haven’t met any kids?
Wow, congrats, I envy you*
Just kidding of course, you have to be nice to today’s children, they’ll be the nurses/doctors taking care of you in your nursing home :O !

I have nieces and nephews and know other people with kids and I wouldnt want to slap them or see them fed to wild animals as they aren’t smarmy little brats with zero charisma.

I just watched Mac And Devin Go To Highschool.
It was alright though I wouldn’t recommend it.

Have the 2009 reboot/remake of ‘Friday The 13th’ on in the background. If ever you need an example of a film where wooden stupid attractive teens run/walk about whilst someone kills them in different grotesque ways then this should be near the top of your list.
One of those films that is so unbelievably awful you keep watching.
Not sure whats more painful – watching the film or getting a sword driven into your skull. Having a sword driven into your skull might be worse but would be over quicker.

I’m still waiting to go see 007 ’s Spectre!Isn’t it Ironic it got released the same day as Beatles 1 ???
I wonder if it was timed especially considering ‘Love Me Do ‘ and ‘Dr No’ were released on the same day in 1962: first Beatles single + Bond film/latest Beatles album, latest Bond film.
Are you still waiting to see ‘1’ @Bongo? You could do both on the same day.

Having a little Mel Brooks festival , I have Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein, but just watched a great DVD transfer of Silent Movie (WHY is Feldman in a old flier’s hat?), and Spaceballs is next! I’m also renting out High Anxiety which I don’t think I’ve seen.

Wish I could join you! His movies crack me up. Who else would recreate a silent movie with the only audible word spoken by Marcel Marceau? Subtle genius.

As a big Hitchcock fan I love High Anxiety.

One of my favourite comedy film and the musical has some of my favourite Broadway hits (I am partial to bursting into ‘Keep it Gay‘ at random intervals). I amn’t a big fan of Matthew Broderick as Bloom nor Will Ferrell as Franz Liebkind, his German accent is terrible but I do love Gary Beach as Roger de Bris and Roger Bart as Carmen Ghia- they’re great!
It was also George’s favourite film, he quoted it on the the inside-cover of his Dark Horse album, “Well Leo, what say we promenade through the park?”
So if you don’t do it for me, do it for <

That’s because they’re just like mime artists themselves…… they can’t think outside the box.
