Offline It’s a hearty 55 degrees (13 for those of you who prefer Celsius) here in NorCal. Which is practically Death Valley compared to the vortex, and unusually warm for 7:00 PM in January.

Offline Hah, it was 37 here yesterday and the day before (Celsius that is. 98 in Fahrenheit). Back down to a more reasonable 22C today.
I won’t rub it in though, as I’ll be the one complaining about the cold in about 5 months I’d think.
(side note: the coldest temperature I’ve experienced is -0.1C, in Canberra one morning. Only time it’s ever got below freezing in my experience. I guess Australia isn’t great at doing cold)

Offline Ooh we’re talking about temperature. I’m in Hamburg* at the mo and it’s currently 0C. Tomorrow I’ll be in Dublin and it’s 4C there, and then at home it’s also 4C.
*Speaking of Hamburg if any Biblers want to go visit Hamburg between the months of April-July, so long as it is between Thursday and Sunday (i.e. outside my class days), I will definitely go and visit you, and we can go see the Beatle-sites together.
The reason why I haven’t done them yet is I normally arrive at 2pm, and it’s winter so it gets dark by 4pm. St. Pauli isn’t the nicest of areas to be in as a lone girl in the dark, so I’ve avoided it. That and the ladies who work in the Reeperbahn don’t take too kindly to single girls being on their turf, and I’d prefer not to have a drink thrown on me or be spat at tbh. Once you have somebody else with you, it’s fine.

I’m sorry, that’s no fun. I can sympathize though, because I’m a total insomniac and it takes me multiple hours to fall asleep every night unless I take melatonin.

SS? founded a club/task force over a year ago and we used to have to do little challenges in the PMs. The symbol of the club was the little red thing, and one of the challenges was to put it on your profile. I think everyone else has removed theirs because the club has been long inactive but I just never got around to it.
