You know what Fiddy, you scare me sometimes.
I did not participate in the discussion, I swear! There was a word problem in our homework that involved somebody poisoning someone else, and people started asking about what poisons were the best, and my teacher started talking about how he would go about murdering someone. I just sat there in terrified silence, shaking with a mixture of laughter and fear. (Nervous laughter.) Don’t shoot the messenger!
(He’s kind of scary though. And he made fun of me for being tall. He’s one of those teachers who will do literally anything for a laugh, and it gets really awkward sometimes.)
Oh and my French teacher roasted me too in second period. 🙁

Offline I know the best way to murder someone and so long as I clean up the place afterwards, my likelihood of being caught is very slim.

Offline Today in English, my teacher came over to my desk during individual work and randomly asked “What sort of music do you like?”.
I hesitated, and then I said “Well, I kinda like The Beatles…” (biggest understatement of my life)
Then she said she liked Fleetwood Mac, and that she’s seen them in concert.
And towards the beginning of the year, I walked into my math class with my earbuds in. My teacher asked as I entered the room “What are you listening to?”.
I said I was listening to music, and she rolled her eyes and asked me to be specific.
So I turned on my phone and showed her, and she was all
”Ah, The Beatles! Fine choice indeed…”

Offline That reminds me of when I was on band tour with my school band and the head of music suddenly got up, and turned to me (I was at the front of the bus as I get bus sick) and asked me what song I was listening to: I remember it clearly, as I’d just put it on my phone the day before going on the tour (and iirc correctly I’d been a member of this forum for a week) and it was Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite , and we geeked out about the Beatles for half an hour until he got up and asked everyone else on the bus.
I had him as a teacher in 2017. It was great…
