It’s like 35 where I am, which really isn’t that cold, but the whole of Virginia collectively has a seizure when it snows (hopefully it’ll snow soon, ugh school) so you can imagine how well it’s going over. I saw a dog with boots on.

Just kidding. I don’t think I try to prioritise my favourite artists in that way, because I go through phases where I’m discovering a new artist and they become my life for 6 months to a year, before fading into the more comfortable background rotation. Since getting into the Beatles, I have done the same with Pink Floyd, Muse, Led Zeppelin, and finally Bowie. Bowie’s my current obsession but I still love the hell out of the others. He’s also somewhat more of a sartorial role model to me, and he’s good for naming yourself after in Kahoots because there’s so many of him.
But each of my favourite artists occupies a very special place in my heart — they’re not more or less, just different. I sort it something like this:
Beatles – First and forever favourite band 
Those boys and their songs are my family.
Floyd – My soulmate. We’re getting married as soon as I figure out how one marries a body of artwork.
Muse – My favourite modern band and the best live band I’ve ever seen (because I was born too late for Led Zepp ) and cracking good generally.
Led Zepp – Zepp is basically my substitute for sex
Bowie – Inspiration, epitome of class, sartorial role model, and there are so many of him I never get bored.
Stay tuned, I may be adding more to the list (I also like Radiohead and have been poking at Queen, but those five reign supreme).

Same here.

Lol yes, Pink Floyd is great. Especially TDSOTM.

I’ve heard a lot of his music and it’s very cool, but admittedly I’ve never actually downloaded one of his albums or listened to one all the way through, though I definitely want to, heard great things about him.
