Offline I thought i heard somewhere that the different accounts each belonged to a different brother roughly 4 years apart, i guess i was mistaken.

No.To name a few: Breathless, September, basically all of the ‘Sounds of the Season’ album, American Girl… and that’s not counting the stuff she does live.
All the songs you listed are 1. covers (not written for her by somebody else and not her songs) and 2. not on any of her studio albums. And then you’re talking about a Christmas album? Most Christmas albums are filled with covers of Christmas songs. And what songs does she do on her tour that she doesn’t have a writers credit for? I saw her this summer and she didn’t sing one song she didn’t write.

Basically, my point is, while yes, she wrote or co-wrote a massive proportion, she hasn’t done every single one like you claimed. You can’t claim covers don’t count – otherwise some very, very famous recordings cannot exist.

I can’t be bothered getting the list up, but I remember seeing the Jackson 5 song I Want You Back.Basically, my point is, while yes, she wrote or co-wrote a massive proportion, she hasn’t done every single one like you claimed. You can’t claim covers don’t count – otherwise some very, very famous recordings cannot exist.
I was talking specifically about her studio albums though, not songs she just sings on tour (and as far as I know she didn’t perform any covers during her Reputation tour) or a Christmas album.
The post I was replying to was implying that she doesn’t write her music anymore and has people write it for her. A cover song doesn’t count because that’s not her song. It wasn’t written by somebody else for her. There’s a difference.

Offline HELLO! Sorry I’ve been so absent, Chorus has been keeping me busy. But i have good news: I FINALLY DID IT! I’m successfully getting someone into the Beatles. I made a deal with my friend that I would learn about a band he likes if he learns about a band I like. So far he’s impressed.
