Sounds good to me, @Ahhh Girl but @The Hole Got Fixed i don’t think there’s an organ part in I Want To Hold Your Hand , i think you’re thinking about John’s rhythm guitar, which has a organ like sound which he gets by letting go of the fretboard immediately after striking the chord. Also, i think using just organ instead of Hammond organ would be a better idea, since The Beatles used other organs. Also, i think having an acoustic guitar section would be great since some songs like Yesterday don’t fit nicely into either rhythm or lead.

Well blow me down – I’ve heard on more than one occasion that they used hammond organ on this song, but after some research I’m wrong!
I’m more than happy to add an acoustic guitar column and change the organ column too. I will now start its own thread…

Looks pretty comprehensive, not much I can add to it. Here’s another idea: do the very last instrument/vocal/noise used on a released Beatles track. And a supplemental, what were the first and last times a specific instrument/noise/vocal was used on a released Beatles track? Could be tricky with fadeouts, though!

Lads, lads, lads, holy sh**, Apple finally got their birthdays right on the calendar!!!! The compulsory individual photo of each Beatle, finally corresponds with their birth month!!!!!
I’ve been buying the calendars every year for about 5 years and I have never seen them get it right, apart from now!
This is a truly glorious time that we are living in.
In saying that 2019…and they’re celebrating With The Beatles , I mean, Abbey Road is just crying out for the 50th anniversary calendar but….ok Apple, one achievement at a time, yeah?
As an afterthought George looks so dapper in his photo

Super-geek alert.
@AppleScruffJunior, this got me wondering and so have gone thru all the calendars I have, so around 1993 to 2004. at which point I gave up buying them as Apple had started to have at least eight hundred official calenders every year, and then a random 2012 plus a handful of unofficial ones that would cost a £1 – so around 18 to 20 The results are that there were three calendars where each Beatle gets their birthday month;
and 2012*, of which I cannot find the relevant image anywhere and it has no theme of note.
Seems like in the 90’s Apple made a point to focus on the movies as ’94 was ‘AHDN ‘, ’95 ‘Help !’, ’97 ‘MMT’ and ’99 ‘LIB ‘. Oddly, considering how much crap they nowadays shove out based on the ‘YS’ movie, 1998 was not.
*note that there a number of official calendars for 2012 so only one of those may fit these conditions.

I gave myself a mullet for Halloween.
Halloween Jack, that is — yet another post-Ziggy character who’s often confused for Ziggy himself.
Because I end up dressing as David Bowie every other day anyway, so it made sense to be his most seasonally-appropriate character for Halloween…
There’s a pic in my profile if you wanna see.
In the words of a different David — ‘And You May Ask YourSelf! — MY GOD! WhAt hAve I DOnE?!’
Surprisingly, though, it looks kinda cool.

Well, actually I already have a ‘stache. It’s not nearly as horrific (or visible) as Paul’s though, and my mullet is of the space-alien variety rather than the Sadly Slamping Spikes…

YAAAS. I APPROVE.
Take note, though, that it takes a bit of maintenance to keep it defying gravity. Bowie’s hairdresser used some kind of anti-dandruff shampoo ‘cos they didn’t have product in those days.
I’ve since restored mine to a more typical Berlin Bowie/early Beatles moptop style (depending on how I comb it), because after I washed it, it stopped spiking up and got weird instead and so I was done with it.
Also, sir walter and George just won the thread.
